I love how the Captain is handed the pen to sign the flight plan like some kind of demi-God... and they are still wearing their uniform jackets when strapped in to their seats! You can really tell it's 1993 :-)
I have flown on this sector, from JFK to IST. Good flight, but since 2005 when I flew with THY their inflight product has changed completely with new seats and personal entertainment in all classes with the equipment changed from an Airbus 340 to Boeing 777. I could never imagine THY winning the Best Airline in Europe award twice in a row. But they have improved to the point where they did it.

@mray55 i think that they dont have to buy the A380's. its better that they buy the new b787's. Because they have lower costs and they are more efficient....... they are quitter too!!!
+Carlos It's well retired TC-JDK. It was renamed from Isparta to Diyarbakir in its mid life. The aircraft's cabin is used as a restaurant & wedding hall in Balikesir, Turkey. How unique.
