The cutout isn't to make it light weight. They made it because the real G18C has it to reduce the recoil.
Exactly it's not the airsoft that did it Glock did and obviously the airsoft is meant to be an exact replica
the slide cuts dont reduce recoil, the compensated barrel does, which in turn is why they need the slide cuts

Fun fact: the plastic one's actually look real good sometimes but when you do a durability test they just sort of explode..

The TM Gold Match can be that 1000 pistol and not cost as much if you do it yourself. Same frame. It's all a matter of how much you wanna spend.
Cz is high quality. My first pistol and still runs great. Real Glocks and CZs have polymer lowers, so not a quality issue. Accurate reproduction.

Though im a bit let down that the 1000 dollar gun isnt like a "stock" gun, it seems like a fully modded hi-Capa which i would recommend starting with the base tokyo marui 5.1 123$ or the gold match 180ish$ (if you like that black and gold look and want to start with that) depending on the retailer and then putting 100-300$ into it in parts and cosmetics to get that custom look and shooting you want, cause genuinely for like 150 you can replace all the internals and get a masterpiece, though love that at the end you compared the gold match and 1000$ custom cause essentially that are the "same" build just before and after a ton of money is put into it
Heres a fin fact about the glo k 18c. The c stands for compensated. The outer barrel design is kind of like a muzzle break to reduce recoil because full auto glocks are so inaccurate that the best place to be standing if more than 10 ft away is right in front of it but of course in airsoft, its for decoration. Also the cutouts on the real steel make it shoot so fast that the mag cant keep up so you will get stoppages half way through a 32rd extended mag. The g17 conversion is so much better.
The CZ P-09 is almost 1-1 with the actual firearm. The short slide is for low bore axis and has an integrated slide where as other pistols the slide goes over the frame the CZ platform it goes inside the frame.

I have been watching for years keep being awesome
I actually own the P0-9, and it’s really good, prolly my 2nd best pistol, really accurate and consistent, I can get through 3 mags before a new cartridge is needed, and it’s just really reliable, I’ve no regrets with that gun, and imo, ASG makes some of the best airsoft pistols in my experience, I also bought their SP0-1 and it just replaced my P0-9 it’s even more accurate, full metal construction, and rubberized textured grips, it literally feels like the real gun, and I love that gun.
If you’re gonna get a spring powered pistol I recommend the Crosman stinger P311. It’s currently about $20 but very well made. I still have one laying around from when I first started. It’s a really good first gun for your kid or backyard shooting
I want to buy the crosman m1911 classic spring pistol, but idk if its very good. Reviews are mixed

I recently just got my first airsoft emergency backup/ sidearm and it’s a Umarex Glock 19 gen 3. It uses CO2 instead of green gas and is non blowback to reduce price, but I love it.. This video actually inspired me to get a sidearm, thx Wag

I use the TM gold for CQB and it is an absolutely brilliant pistol. I have tried others but they dont come near to it.
Slamming a revolver cylinder is pretty much the coolest thing ever. But if any of you ever actually own a revolver, please don’t slam the cylinder closed, you will damage the gun

Im happy there was a tokyo marui on this list. I just got a hi-capa 5.1 in black for 123$ and like 80$ worth of internals and it shoots like GOLD

The CZ Clone's slide is so small because that's what the firearm looks like. I really think they did a great job recreating the original's design!
I’m most impressed with the 30 dollar one for its price shooting at 250 fps obviously not blowback but still has good fps and accuracy great video!

The P-09 like the Glock is modeled after the CZ p 09. They design CZ slides like that for the lower bore axis.

By far the best there was the Glock! Sound, mag cap, even the looks. 1000 for a Airsoft pistol is just ridiculous, nobody needs that extra 25fps for the extra 750! But the star of the show is of course the 2.95 spring powered! That thing is an absolute beast for the money 💰😂

Something interesting is that the real Glock pistols (as in fires actual bullets) had a polymer outer construction, to be durable and lightweight.
The p-09 has to be one of my favourite pistols

Japanese law also requires pistols to be polymer x
They are not full polymer though
And you can pretty easily get aluminum or steel parts afterwards (depending on where you live)

I have the 18c and it sucks when it starts getting cold because sometimes the slide gets stuck releasing the gas or the mag freezes but in the warm it’s amazing
