- After wanting to get a Porsche GT3 Touring for a while now, especially with comfort seats, this one popped up at @betterperformance_ and it just had to join the collection.
Arguably one of the most perfect specs for the Touring, with the PTS Amethyst Metallic colour and full Manthey Racing kit, not forgetting the VERY loud full titanium Akrapovic exhaust system! We had to do some launches in this video for you too!

The spec is great but I think I would've gone with the gt3 manthey "non-touring" or just a normal touring with the manual. But great car so enjoy it, mate. Cheers!

I think you should go get 2 Novitec Torado Aventador’s with crazy Novitec exhausts and do midnight tunnel runs in convoy and just go all out mental 😍👌 can you imagine the chaos you could cause with not 1 but 2 straight pipe Novitec Aventadors 😂

So good - Is the full Manthey touring kit with aero?
It’s not got the aero, I think that’s just got released. It has the “full” kit before the aero kit came out … wheels, suspension, brakes (under aero) … not the new diffuser
@@wam_barn - yup Manthey just released the full Touring kit - apparently the aero is 16% better than stock; not sure if the suspension tune is any different than what you have though.
If you go with gt3 touring comfort seats I find it puts it in a tricky spot, cause at that point maybe just go for a turbo model no? That’s why for me the gt3 touring is in a tricky place
With the Turbo you don’t get the NA sound and feel… Turbo is cool but the excitement of the GT3 just wins imo 💥

@Dayystra we’ve got the 997 Turbo S, I get the 997 and 992 will be quite different but I think for us both the decision to go for the GT3 over the Turbo S was a great decision, especially since this one has the Akrapovic exhaust… just hearing that NA sound does it for sure, instantly sold haha! 🤤

The 992 S/T is an incredible car, but for the money this Touring is perfect! If I were to have got it at list then that would’ve been even better! Didn’t fancy getting multiple Taycan’s for it though 😆

Silver wheels are staying, that’s for sure! You need silver on a darker car, they just look so good 😍🙏🏻
Still got the 4rs ? JCR exhaust on a 4rs is better than any gt3 in my honest opinion way nicer tone

Manthey just released the Touring kit - not sure if this is it with full aero though
It’s got Geo, Brakes, Suspension and an exhaust, not the aero kit, seems pointless for the new aero parts on a touring

Yeah Manthey acquired Porsche not too long ago, but Manthey are still their own team developing the kits 😁
A touring, ehhh. To each their own, but I feel like the touring is the old man car and the car people get because they couldn’t the GT3 or GT3 RS.
We’ve got a Porsche GT2 RS MR for that kind of car… had the 992 GT3, and the 992 GT3 RS but the Touring is for a daily comfortable car with a great engine and sound… no chance an old man car it’s a monster!

@@wam_barn curious; since you have PDK in the GT2 RS, and 918, why didn’t you go with a manual in the collection? PDK is of course amazing, but especially since manual might be going away in the refresh (992.2)
The car was bought for more of a daily, so manual wasn’t really an option for comfort reasons. PDK is too good of a gearbox to not get for that kind of touring car 😁

Fantastic colour and spec. But…. I have a Touring and you are missing a trick without the seats. Even my wife thinks the carbon seats are very comfortable. You have me googling exhausts….
Thank you! Nooooo haha, we have the buckets in the 918 and 2RS... it's nice to finally have a comfortable seat in a car like this! They're not too bad the bucket setas, but for the Scotland NC500 trip, the comfort ones were so good. You need an exhaust... 😉
@@wam_barn lol well that’s fair. So the advice is, if you have 2 other Porsches with bucket seats, get your Touring with sofas. But if you only have one then get buckets!
