- HE Gov Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki pays the Highest Minimum Wage in Nigeria since May 2022. The minimum wage was increased from 30k Naira to 40k Naira, an increment of 33.3%, he again increases the minimum wage since May 2024 to 70k Naira, that is an increment of 133.3% against the national minimum wage of 30k, please note that he did that without the Edo state workers engaging in any struggle whatsoever
- He pays Salaries and Pensions/Gratuities regularly and timely, on or before 26th of every month
- Our amiable governor has gradually cleared the backlog of Pension and gratuity, already from 1988 to 2014 has been cleared
- The governor has Harmonized the Pension of old Retirees with today's reality
- Civil and Public Servants are given regular Training, it has never been done in this form in the state
- The Working Environment of Civil and Public has been transformed to world class standard
- Every 1st class graduate get Automatic Employment from the state if they so desired to work in the Public Sector, there are already over 50 1st class graduates working for Edo state through this laudable initiative
- Gov Obaseki recently launched a top notch Command and Control Centre in Edo state making it one of the only 3 states (Lagos, Abuja and Edo) in Nigeria
- Over 11 thousand security personal have been trained into the State Security Network
- Gov Obaseki has grown Edo state Economy from about 10 billion dollars to about 26 billion dollars in 7 years of his administration
- HE Gov Obaseki has grown Edo state IGR well over 200% (Edo state IGR at 2016 was ca. 20 b Naira, IGR at 2023 was 62 b Naira, expect to hit 70 b Naira by end of 2024)
- Three Gas Power Plants (Edo Azura Power Plant with capacity of 461 MW and Ossiomo Power Plant with a current capacity of 95 MW, upscalable to maximum 550 MW) has been constructed in Edo state and Duport Energy Park with a current capacity of 5 MW, all three power were constructed within 2 years
