I've been talking to my 16 & 19 year old son's about relationships and how not to settle; be safe, but shop around and be able to take each others bad with their good. Just to slow down and focus on school and sports... plenty of fish in the sea.
Gladys Knight was a beautiful woman back in the 1970s. She created a song so beautiful it has endured for over 50 years.
This is one of my favorites of her's.
One of my favorite songs, I always wished it could go on like a love affair, just a little bit longer. Thank you.

Stunning work on this Perfection In Performance, John. This song was so prophetic in that it was Gladys & The Pip's swan song for Motown before leaving the label for Buddha. You can feel the anguish, but the decision was certainly the right one.

I'm particularly biased to people who take a Gladys song and modify / alter it, but once again you've proved that you can remix / extend a Gladys Classic the same way you did "If I Were your Woman." Motown Legend has it that Glady's & Bobby Taylor discovered The Jackson Five but Berry Gordy insisted on Diana Ross taking the credit. Eventually Gladys & the Pips were another act left out of the loop but they had a second coming on their new label with quite a few big 70's hits. A stunning singer
