I don't care how bad they think someone is, smashing someones instrument is horrible. That is the worst things I've ever seen on any show.
Mostly when it’s a gift given from someone who died.
I believe the whole thing (including the backstory about his dead father giving him the guitar) was staged. I’ve been selling all types of acoustic and electric guitars for 30 years and that acoustic guitar would not even bring 75 dollars. It’s a very cheap made guitar which is the main reason I believe it’s staged. Nobody would smash a thousand dollar acoustic but they would definitely smash a 75 dollar one.

The judge who broke the guitar was removed from judging the contest and I think he was fined for breaking the guitar and received a crap ton of back lash, as for the guy who’s guitar was broken he was given an apology from X factor

I would expect more than a weak apology, they would need to compensate me or buy me a new guitar 🎸 😤🤷♀️🙄. As mentioned in the comments...the guitar was probably an heirloom or had sentimental value.

At 12.5 the judge smashed the contestant's guitar. He certainly overreacted and should buy him a new one. He could have just told him to quit singing and leave the stage.

Yes the guitar was out of tune, but the judge had no right to smash his property! I also heard it was a gift from his father before he passed away😢😢😢 He should sue and they should fire the judge!

The judges who just sat there watching while their colleague broke that guitar are those bystanders we all tell our kids *not* to be.
I think they were kind of in shock that that was even happening. Then, the thought of "what do I do?" creeps in together with "I don't really want to get involved with this crazy guy...".

The fact that the girl who interupted the last act and threw the eggs at Simon with a big smile on her face was really unnerving to see. I thought she was throwing petals from a basket at first and had to rewatch to see the carton of eggs.

The second act, their base just didn’t have a strong enough core. Like your base shouldn’t be shaking the second you put force on them. That’s just dangerous for everyone involved.
This!! They'd have been incredible with a stronger base, this is why they actually usually do have larger women or men be base! Putting so much weight on someone who can't hold it is so dangerous for something like that

The guy that smashed the guitar really touched me his act was not nice I feel sorry for that guy even if he didn't perform well he was not in the right position to smash the guitar

The first act didn't go wrong, it was meant to be that way.
The one with the guitar, hope the judge was fired and had criminal damage charges against him. I remember hearing about the guitar being smashed. Did he inherit the guitar or am I thinking of something else.

A different stranger in the comments said the judge was fired because you're not supposed to break a guitar and then go on a rant where you scream.

Simon Cowell is known for being rude and basically that's what he gets paid for. However, he doesn't go around swearing or belittling other contestants waiting in the outside area, nor does he break peoples property. If the act is bad, he just stops it and tells them to leave.

i'm tone sensitive, i can tell when a singer is off key even if its very minimal, these two were actually phenomenal and way above the standards for a singing competition in the duet category, not too heavy on vibrato which is a personal pet peeve of mine, harmony is actually spot on to the point i don't think even sound engineers would be able to recreate that, even their level mixing is spot on, as in... no one outsings the other which i also dislike, and they didn't even lose their focus when disrupted by a random, this entire thing is the bar that should be set for duet performances

@@brendabrashko5953 the live performance is the audition. They changed it to a live performance for auditions a fair few years ago. It really accelerates the nerves and shows the judges if they really have what it takes, I guess.

@@brendabrashko5953 not really, I've watched another audition of a man who went just for fun and ended up passing the audition even if he didn't think he would. So he thanked himself for getting signed anyway in a "level that he didn't belong in". The best mindset to have is to put yourself in places that challenge your limits, where you're scared to be, where you know your level doesn't belong there, because the experience will teach you. Yes you might fail, but the chances of success when you don't even show up are 0%. The "I'm not ready" mentality keeps you inside your limits. You'll never get to the next level if you keep fighting what you know you can beat.

They brought a live orchestra for their performance and one of the violinists decided to throw eggs at a judge while they're performing. She probably got herself fired, banned, and blacklisted.
Was it one of the violinists? I couldn't even see where she came from.

I was wondering where she came from and at first I thought she came from the choir, so I went back to look and saw the violinist stand up and walk forward to throw the eggs. She's in the group on the right side, sitting in the 2nd row in the seat closes to the center of the stage, right behind the lady playing the cello. You can see her stand up while the curtain is opening to reveal the choir.
@Purple_Eclipse yeah I re watched it. Her name is Natalie Holt and she was annoyed at Simon because they were told to mime playing on stage.

How can you ' practice too much', you have to keep practicing to perfect it though 🤷♀️. They were still impressive, maybe nerves got the better of them 🤷♀️. Sofia tried telling the audience to stay quiet ,so that the gymnasts wouldn't get distracted. But the dumb audience still kept clapping 🙄.

@@denisehardin7005this happened years ago, the judge faced a TON of backlash, fines and even got fired. The guy got an official apology from the show plus some money too

The judge who was on X factor Ukraine should have been fired, removed immediately. He literally performed a complete, what should be, crime. Not everyone can be a fan of other's singing abilities, but taking it that far is insane, I don't know who raised him as a person, but it's definitely not cool. Being famous and a judge doesn't mean you can abuse that power and do whatever floats your boat. He had no idea what that guitar could have meant, it could've been a new guitar he spent hundreds on, or something sentimental and he just completely obliterated it because he "disliked his singing." I can't stand people who use their power and abuse it.
