    Great demonstration! I'm not too crazy about the short score board, but the other features might balance that out. I'll be checking out the next video that you mentioned. Thanks!

    That stamp would be a dolphin. Although dolphins tend to be leaner and bigger than a porpoise, the biggest difference is that dolphins have a longer, more prominent nose. They are often called 'Bottlenose Dolphins' for this reason. When in doubt, consider the shape of the Orca: The so-called 'Killer Whale' is actually a dolphin! Just FYI…

      Thanks a lot for the clarification. I call things wrong all the time. Another common one I mess up on is chipmunk vs. squirrel! I appreciate you taking the time to help me know the difference between porpoises and dolphins! Janet

    Good video! So excited -- mine's being delivered tomorrow. And yes, there is a difference between dolphins and porpoises. (Just Googled it, as I was curious.)

      so, it's been a year- do you still use this for all your card making etc? I was just about to give up and get whatever could work but this looks amazing! Especially since everything that comes with it has a home within/on it! Please let me know if it was everything you hoped for.

      No worries. That’s the size of the card? If so the envelope needs to be a little bigger. Sorry to ask again. Just want to make sure I demo what you need. Thank you!

    Thank you for your thorough and articulate video! Can you stamp clingback red rubber stamps with this tool?

    • @SugarShineDesigns
      @SugarShineDesigns  Před 4 lety

      Yes and no on the rubber stamps. Yes, it will stamp nicely but be aware that there is little to no space between the stamp bottom and your paper. Make sure your stamp is clean to avoid any ghost impressions before you start. But otherwise the lack of space doesn’t impact the stamp quality in my experience.

    Where do I get extra blades when this becomes used?
    I live in the UK?

    • @SugarShineDesigns
      @SugarShineDesigns  Před 2 lety

      The WeRMemory Keepers brand cutting blade that they sell for other cutters works in this too. I can buy on Amazon or other US craft companies. It’s easily available here. I hope you will find that also. If it’s a blade made by them, it will work in my experience.

    Where can I purchase new cutting blades for this product?

    • @SugarShineDesigns
      @SugarShineDesigns  Před rokem

      I buy mine at my local Joann store. It’s the same blade used in all their cutters with the slot style cutting mechanism. Makes it easy to find replacements. It usually comes as a 2 pack.

    • @SugarShineDesigns
      @SugarShineDesigns  Před rokem

      Oh no! Grab the part with the punches on the left side and pull out. It should easily swing open.

    • @SugarShineDesigns
      @SugarShineDesigns  Před rokem

      Also if you grab where the third punch is, you’ll get the best leverage for pulling it out. If you try too close to the first punch, it would be hard to open it. Hope that helps. I tested it and where I put my hand.

    Hi! Could you clarify if the blade is not replaceable?

    • @SugarShineDesigns
      @SugarShineDesigns  Před 4 lety +1

      It’s replaceable. I later learned the blade is the same as in all their cutters. Pop it out and put a new one in. I’ve replaced mine twice now. I got the new ones at Joann’s. 🙂

    Does this make boxes as well?

    • @SugarShineDesigns
      @SugarShineDesigns  Před 3 lety

      It doesn’t have pre-measurements for box making but it’s pretty handy since the cutting and scoring is on the same tool. Here’s a recent box making video I did using The Works. I’ve got a free box making worksheet you can download to make the measurements super easy. How to Make A Box at Any Size | Easy Directions | Free Calculator Worsheet
