mark rickert of (marks garage) is my husband, george zeo jr.’s grandfather. he taught him about cars from a young age and today george owns his own garage. his mother wanda, one of marks daughters, works the front desk-something she learned from living above her dads garage ❤❤❤

Very cool. My dad grew up in Warrington and had an auto parts store there in '75-78. No longer with us, but I'm sure he would know all of these places and people. Love the old footage and comparison photos!

I remember Harrar's in the late 1950s, early 60's as the place I could walk to with friends form Brittany Farms to get a cold bottle of soda out of the cooler out front. Mom and I would get cold black coffee (her) and tomato juice and toast (me) as a snack after school. Mark's Garage was where my un-mechanical family came to depend on someone who knew what they were doing with our cars and didn't cheat. He even picked up my Falcon convertible from mid-Pennsylvania when it failed on my way home for college.
