I had chance to shoot one today. I didn't realize until today how big improvement this model brings over Shadow 01. Better trigger, softer recoil and better grip shape allowing to catch it deeper and more comfortably. Now I'm considering selling my Shadow 01, which is good gun but clearly inferior to Shadow 1
This is a great gun. The shooters are great. Their shooting is great. The video is great. The accompanying music is great, but, who is that awesome drummer?
I'll be curious to see how many of the parts are interchangeable with the old Shadow. Will the new version with its Tanfoglio like trigger guard fit into our old bladetech shadow holsters.
Awesome video!! I am a big fan of the CZ SP-01 Shadow. A local dealer told me the retail price out here in Europe would be at about 1025 Euro for this outstanding SA/DA pistol desgined for IPSC in production division. I'll probably get one in the near future. Best Regards.J
The Shadow 2 will be available in Europe at €1199,- (starting price) but it might take until the end of first quarter 2017, before they will be delivered in Europe.
Is there any logical reason you swapped the nickel plated magazines with blued ones on the shadow 2 Package? Also for what reason did you stop putting the longer safety lever into the package?` I was genuinly mad when I noticed at home that there is no long safety in the box and that I am supposed to pay 50€ to get one. Same goes for the black magazines which look like shit after two reloads... I have some old blued 75 magazines that still look great after 30 years of use. The ones that came with the shadow 2 look terrible after three trips to the range.
I can't get the screw out for the mag release. It seems to be heavily loctited in place, and made of a soft pot metal, so the head stripped. Yes, I used a quality T10 bit, yes it was all the way in. Looks like I'm going to have to drill out a screw on a new $1,300 gun, because they couldn't be bothered to use quality hardware, or not bathe the screws in loctite.
Hi, got same problem, you have to replace the part, it's like $30... Now I'm a bit scared to try again. Apparently you have to heat it up pretty good in order to soften the glue.
So what color will the shadow 3 be? lmao. This gun is major gun porn. They need to showcase this gun in a movie, say underworld, and they need to make it in 10mm damn it!
