"Yeah, I'm in Violent Femmes"
"Cool! What do you play?"
"The Weber Grill."
The band that influenced me to take up the barbeque!
How has this comment not gotten more likes!?
nothing sounds like a weber
Omg I just soiled myself laughing so hard
I love this song!!! Praise Jesus??
Amen
Yep yep!
This is such a wonderful discovery for me. To see VF performing LIVE here is UHAMAZING! I use to listen to this music in the 80’s while at my dest processing medical claims at the desk of a insurance company in the San Juaquin Valley. A time way before the availability of CZcams and the like. THIS is like stepping back in time and reliving all that I missed. So great to see tho live in concert. The only time I saw you live was in LA with the B52’s! Great concert! But wonderful to re-live your songs here via CZcams. Thank You Thank You. 🙏
That's how a banjo solo should be done!!
The Violent Femmes, Nihilism to Salvation.
When you take the deep and thoughtful journey there is only one conclusion.
Many of the members including Gano are Christians.
You know it's an old song on the Hallowed Ground album, right? The album with Country Death Song and Black Girls. Perhaps you're misunderstanding the original derisiveness of the tune.
Yes it is true !
Im so gutted you guys cancelled New Zealand, ive been wanting to see you guys since i was 15. Had the tickets as well uggg
Just found this! Love it! Very unexpected from the Femmes!
Why? It's exactly like them.
@@TheVeek192 Gordon Gano at least
Sweet sweet banjo.
Fantastic.
Fookin awesome.......
The only guy I've seen who can make a bass solo sound interesting.
Really? Ever heard of Primus or Red Hot Chili Peppers?
What about les claypool?
You must not listen to enough music
@@slushbox3443 no, I Just think that in general bass solos are awful and they have little reason to be there in the first place. Wrong frequencies for a solo. Only drums solos make even less sense.
Looked fun.
❤️❤️
❤❤❤
That is a hell of a drum.
MY DAD IS THE GUY WITH THE GREY HAT WITH THE BEARD ON THE RIGHT IN THE BEGINING
Yeah, but he plays it like a grill.
+FATshadow I play like a grill too

That’s how you know you’re talented - when you can drum the shit out of a Weber BBQ grill!
✨✌️🥰✌️✨
Best atheist gospel performance eva!
Gordon isn't an atheist.
Frank Kelley i bet its better than yours
People who say something cant be done are usually interupted by someone doing it
he's a Christian and has dozens of Christian songs.
If you actually listened to Gordon's music and somehow missed his Christianity, I don't know what to tell you.
madlik..
Brian the bassist is atheist! He can also shred out a killer tasty bass solo!
Me too but I still like this song
I can drum a fkin bbq
But you're not a Violent Femme, so who cares?
Brah- the webber tho
....... what the hell?
Is the bassist singing completely out of tune?
Hail Satan!😋😂
