Putting Al'Akir as extended lethality as it gets buffed by wish upon star (especially if it gets tripled) as well as a potential buff with jam session really helped me close out games with reno shaman. I also think its better to just take out lightning storm and tumbleweed, and just add a lightning reflexes instead.

Was rlly hoping this meta shakeup would make the game fun but hunter and bran are still so uninteractive I’m gonna stay on the sidelines. RC rampage is an insane card and they don’t even play it half the time to kill you on turn 6
Have you tried kangor big paladin? I haven’t seen many people use it but I’m chilling at top 1k legend with it and it’s so fun. It was kind’ve hard to climb before, but it didn’t get touched in the nerfs so now it’s actually pretty decent highly recommend
Play paladin. List Zeddy showed is fine. I reached Legend this season with Flood pally, but a different list. Prismatic is ALWAYS KEEP vs hunter. Insta win.
@@ToniCroX highlander paladin doesn’t work rn on mobile tho :/ spirit of badlands is glitched so that you can’t select cards to the right of the spell it generates.

@@Chimeraeateverything Im not talking about highlander paladin. I call my list aggro. But Zeddy called it flood, which fits imo. But EVERY paladin needs to run the 3 rush cowboy card and prismatic beam. It DESTROYS hunters. They just concede.
Played 59 games of Reno rainbow dk in legend on day 1 of patch with 58% WR.
Got tired of losing to reno warrior and swapped to excavate warlock. 56 games with 59% WR
It's nice to see the meta shifting to favor slower decks, but i feel that brann value is still too op, even after nerfing the ability to TNT + Gaslight Gatekeeper
huntard deck & aggro pally is 65-75% winrate for me, almost guaranteed win against brann warr. they have singletom now 1 mana nerfed removal and they waste turn 6 doing brann nothing .and reno or zilliax is lul 9 mana single card which they might draw early . i won 8-9 games on turn 7 when they waste 6 mana playing no taunt brann...

If you guys hate playing against reno warrior, play excavate warlock i'm 5-0 atm only against warriors, the deck can struggle against aggresive decks but it has his ways to deal with it.
From my point of view it's not so much about winning but I cant even play my Highlander priest because if I Run into a warrior (which there are plenty of eight now) it's not even like a hard but fun match up, it's just not fun and you lose because he destroys your combo pieces or your value cards
I think it's hilarious that Hunter is still undoubtedly S tier and Highlander Warrior is preventing all other classes from having fun with Highlander decks

how long do you want hunter to be bad? because in showdown it got close to 0 play and they only have one viable deck , u cant even play reno really with it. Also aggro priest was still the better aggro deck

The only reason to show the deck is for people to be able to copy whats in it otherwise you would just say look at the link in the description and not show it

It is simply so that people can recognize cards at first glance and say"oh I know that deck". Yes ETC is pretty fundamental, but choosing not to include it is his choice.

@@alecnewman6052 same for me, i love demon warlock after the changes but warrior just has to much removal and the one card that can actually win you the game (sargeras) just gets either reno'd or if you want to play around reno TNT'd.
aggro priest is back to tier 1 in wild with the papercraft buff. helps keep even shaman from snowballing when you're on the coin which was a big problem. A tiny bit harder to play than regular old aggro priest but papercraft, spawn of shadows, new raza, and singalong buddy gives you so many lethal outs from hand that are difficult for your opponent to add up and play around because there is just too much variance to keep track of.
Thanks for the recommendations. It's really sad to me that all of them for Wild are way more toxic and depressing to face or to play than Quest Mage ever was. And yeah, it's been a lot of Shaman but also a ton of Shadow "Reno" Priest, still in Wild (dumpster) Legend since the patch.
Hey Zeddy, always love the videos and watch them at work pretty much everyday! One question would be could you make some timestamps? I think it would be super convenient and while I'm sure you would like people to watch the entire video, timestamps could help with clicks as well.

I went top 1000 Legend with Handbuff Paladin and lost only to Aggro Rogue so far. I wonder if flood Paladin is stronger.
No Mage decks huh? I almost forgot that Warrior has historically countered Mage. The only exception was Exodia Mage, which is Wild only, and requires more cards to even work even in the lower ranks, which makes it unplayably inconsistent.
Ngl ever since duels left the game I have zero incentives to play HS anymore, in otherwords, it DRASTICALLY reduced my gametime because once I reach the desired rank (which is D5), playing more is a complete waste of my time since I could care less if I reach legend (also it's pretty tough anyway), so duels was the only mode I'd spend few good hours but now I just wait until something crazy happen like the recent balance patch or maybe I can give BGs a try. Idk if anyone is the same here

I actually did try Plague DK after patch... and it worked surprisingly well, sure you lost the upside of disabling reno, but deck wins anyway agaisnt a lot of stuff
But not against warrior. I have defeated all the plagues I have met.

Best fix for Druid imo: Fizzle Rheastrasza so you get another copy when they Reno you. Hopefully not become a target of Boomboss tho.
I don't agree , there has to be counterplay , there is literally only 1 card that counters it that is only ran in 1 type of deck ( control ).
I feel like half of my matches on diamond have been against rainbow DK. They have so much value and blow you up out of nowhere with their funny 10 mana spell.

You use the new 4 mana Hagatha to turn the 2 spells into Slimes and then play Shudder to trigger the Battlecry 3x, although you gotta get lucky not to draw the spells + not die, since you have to do a lot when you do draw all the stuff + not burn your hand, since it's going to be full all the time, with you trying to draw the whole combo, so good luck with doing that every game

Those were rotated out of the core set and into the legacy set. They were cards you got for free to begin with, and they've been replaced with other cards

Maybe game is unfixable... and that's okay should be your next video Zeddy, would at least be controversial and get clicks. Played 8 Reno Warrior in a row. Obviously Hunter, Warrior is tier 0. I tried playing Rogue and damn its fun to play but its like a fly next to Godzilla.

I can't imagine why Highlander Warrior is so good. Arguably they buffed 3 cards (Reno, Brann, and aftershocks) while nerfing one card to its original text. I consider Sanitize a net neutral, but you could argue it comes a turn later. Both Reno and Brann still need nerfs. I bet Reno would still be played at 10, 11, or maybe even 12 mana (audio amplifier + coin), because the effect either wins the game outright or gives you a couple of turns to stabilize. Brann might still get played at 7, but would probably be dead at 8 since the tempo hit would be too huge. So far, I haven't seen anything else too overpowered, but I admit I have seen about 2/3 Warrior decks since the patch, so I may be missing the other broken stuff.
So basically the meta didn't change. It's exactly the same except slightly slower. Maybe it would change if you advocated for BUFFS.

1 day into the new patch and already tired of the game. Brann warrior seems unstoppable, blizzard should really move away from all these infinite value bs.
Brann warrior is not infinite value, it provides a lot of value yes but not infinite, Rheastraza or Sargeras are things that provide infinite value. What Brann does do is have both a lot of value and a lot of tempo with lethality at the same time, in addition to support to disruption tools like dirty rat and boomboss, which can shut off your opponent's deck. It does have counters but its also a very strong and versatile deck, and some draws they can get can feel like its impossible to win but there are certain measures you can take to ruin a lot of their cards, such as your own dirty rat, reno if you are playing a reno deck to reno their zilliax which makes inventor boom pretty much useless, or putting on a lot of pressure every turn so if they take a turn to play brann then you just hit them for a ton of damage and just have to close out the game.

The first one is my favourite, the second is a bit greedy but funnier.
The worst match up for both is Avianna druid and highlander druid where you rely on Rat-ing out the Avianna, highlander dragon respectivelly.
Priest is mediocre once he get extra turn.
Anything else you can control to death, basically best match up is wheellock with any warrior (into wheel mulligan into Helya, into warrior you overvalue through time - and mill TNTs by not playing cards winning on plagues).
I had now 17/4 with Rain and 8/3 with the "mill" one. Meanwhile I tossed blood/unholy since it went under 45%.
