Metal detecting with Mal and Equinox 800 - 17th Aug 2024

A warts and all hunt on my favourite Roman farm so getting back into the swing of things :)

Booked for two rallies in next few weeks and hopefully catch up with few guys.
Only be doing bit of detecting as my health lets me :(
As for "Coffee Bush Kid" there are many long beard at the rallies and sometimes its like a ZZ Top convention :)

Good to see you back, Mal. All healed up I hope! I still love my 800 but have been using a Deus II of late and really am getting to like it for both the beach and inland. Its ergonomics are so good I can hunt for a lot longer and its performance is excellent. Do you have one?

Knee op was cancelled last year due to heart issues then HA on 12th Dec so knocked me off for months.
Got to have knee and hip done next year.
Now through the rehab and just back from long weekend rally and survived it but aching as out of condition :)
Another this weekend coming then back on my Roman fields.

@malcolmpotter I've not been out with the club on the last 3 digs as they were all on stuble fields. Hopefully this Saturday will be different.
