Got mine on last night. They look great thanks for the recommendation. $249 with free delivery. Can’t beat that deal. Took me about 3 hours with a buddy. Getting those screws into the silver tabs was the hardest part but love the way they made these so when you tighten things down it sucks the flares up snug to the truck.
Great look all around!!! Convinced me to put them on my 2012 FX4 with the appearance package, nice flares but the instructions were awful, came with all the hardware they listed in the parts list but if you want a more secure install then you need extra screws. Thanks for posting the video, what side steps do you have? They look awesome.
Those are actually the gen 1 raptor side steps. I got the truck used and apparently the dude before me put them on. They look great, but I would never pay that price tag for them
Nice truck. I have a 2011 f150 lariat 5.0L. I'm thinking of running some tow mirrors. I like the ones on your truck. What brand are they. And I just ordered all the parts to put 4 pod lights up on the fenders. Got the idea from you. Thank you..
Ahhh ok.. I’m running 20x12 wheels with a big offset so I had to take the front ones off to do some trimming. So I’m thinking I’ll need to do some trimming of the flare too. Thanks for the info.
hey, although its an old video I really enjoyed it. do you know where to buy these fender flares in 2023, amazon seems to not offer it anymore... thanks for your help..
@@NSQGarage yes. in addition, i am german so it's quite a lil harder to find kind of these over here... even american trucks seems to not offer them anymore....
@@Camsh0ts they are basically flush. I still get a little bit of spray from the tires so that's why I put on the mud flaps. Not sure if that matters to you or not
I just installed them this afternoon, the instructions are awful but if you keep all the screws/bolts a little loose then add some pressure to the flares against the body panels and upwards while you tighten the screws/bolts that should eliminate any gaps and make the flares feel solid against the truck. Helps to have a buddy but can be done by yourself. Good luck!!
I mounted the front ones high so that I wouldn't get rubbing. However, if you have 34s, I think you will be fine. I used rivets to mount these onto the fender flares
NotSoQuaker I had the weather tech mudflaps on and my 34s ripped them off on stock wheels so I’m a little paranoid because of that, but they were pretty thick so it’s probably an unfounded worry
Thanks for the video! I have a 2009 f150 in great shape and I would like to put these on. On amazon they say they will only fit 2015 and newer. Can you give me the product # of yours so I can try and find a set? Thanks Todd
Super easy. Just identify the hot and ground sides of the front parking light and splice them in. You will likely need to add some more to extend the leads. They are pretty short

I can't remember the actual brand. But they are similar to this: www.1aauto.com/2008-16-ford-driver-side-mirror-trail-ridge/i/1amre03356
Bushwackers as of today are going for $329 just bought a set
Looks great. I’ll be getting some in a few weeks. I just love the smooth ones. So how long did it take to put all 4 on?
Maybe a couple hours total once I get the missing screws. Taking the fx4 one's off took my probably just as much time as putting the new ones on.
Cool thanks man, good review. I got a fx4 as well so I’ll be in the same boat.
@@brians77garage12 heads up, you will also lose your mud flaps if you have them

Where can I find these? Been looking for a while now no one is selling anymore for 09-14
It would appear they stopped making these for some reason
Love the look
Thanks man!

Wow you are right! It looks like nobody makes them anymore. I saw some bushwhackers that look similar, but they are pricey

@@fredericklein9784 i wonder if ford got them taken down, because it was labeled "raptor" style. could be a copyright issue.
@@NSQGarage May be possible.. for sure something like that
Nice truck man, I have the same one, if you don't mind to ask you, where did you get this running boards from, thanks
Those are gen 1 raptor running boards. The previous owner put them on. But I see used ones for sale often
@@NSQGarage thanks for replying to me
Looks good. Do you have more details on the wheel/tire setup?
35 x 12.5 BFG K02s
17 x 8.5 Method NV 305s

Hell yea man
I bought these and cannot get them to sit flush. Would be great to hear your experience.
Where are they not sitting flush?

How did you wire your lights on your fender flares?
I spliced them into the parking lights in the headlight assembly
I know this old but are those 3.5L emblem Black on the side of your truck I been looking everywhere for those???
yup! i think they are a combination of matte and gloss black. i believe i got them from UPR
@@NSQGarage Wow thanks
What mud flaps did you get? I put 34s on my f150 and I’m trying to figure out what fits with minimal rubbing
I just put new ones on! I ended up with these:www.amazon.com/dp/B017L0841I/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apa_i_gpnrEbCQAZP5D

@@zb6618 totally understand haha. The rally armor ones are probably only a few mms thick and they are very flexible
Would I be able to install these on my 2012 f150 XL, since it doesn’t have any flares stock ?
Yup. Won't be a problem. You need to take the little ford flares off anyway.

Looks like fort wainwright?
Will they fit a 2005 f150? I can’t find those for my truck. All I find in the internet are the bolt on (thick as hell) flares.
I would love to give you and answer but I'm honestly not sure. Instinct tells me no, but I'm not sure how the dimensions of an '05 compare.
Did you get some? If so did they fit?
Wonder if I modify them will they fit on a 08 f150
Hmm I'm not sure. It might be worth a shot. I'm not sure how the fenders compare on th3 different generations

They are actually the gen 1 raptor side steps
What kind of lift do you have?
I think as of the time of this video it was leveled on bilstein 5100s

@@NSQGarage Thanks. so just pull the bulb and splice into the hot and ground wires directly going into it?

Sure you’ve been asked 100 times but where did you get your headlights from
Those are oem! I'm not sure what Ford calls them, but they were a factory option.
Way too expensive.
