How is it with no sway bar for daily driving and highway? I know a guy who did it and said didn’t notice a difference and now he does break links all the time like mine does with a 2 inch lift

Looking at doing an F150 to raptor conversion, just the suspension. Did you have to relocate your leaf spring hangers to be able to bolt in the raptor leaf springs?

Great video, I'm sitting here getting ready to do the same mods to my truck minus the Manifolds. This test is exactly what I was looking for. I live in Utah too and need the help when pulling this trailer in the summer. I'm also doing a 170 thermostat, AFE larger Transmission pan, and an air/oil seperator. Might as well dump a bunch of money into this pig at 150k miles.

Is this stock? Mine will do that on 35s right at 14 seconds but Im tuned and modded.

What’s the raptor swap page are you referring to?

I’m getting a buzzing harmonic vibration in my steering wheel going down the highway. But when I turned the wheel and put some tension on the wheel it stops it. Drives me nuts but the steering wheel is firm and not loose at all.

How was bumper conversion ?

a good idea for outlets would be to have a 2x2 box hanging from the ceiling along a rail with some slack to to move around the shop also maybe you could do the same for air

You didn’t give us very much information in this video. Was this out of the spray can or did you use a gun with an air compressor? How well did you prepare the surface that you sprayed it on in terms of cleaning and sanding? Did you use adhesion promoter? How many coats did you put down? I’m not saying you are incorrect. But maybe take the time to provide some details if you’re going to give a negative endorsement to a product.

What size rear spacer would you use to match the width of the raptor front suspension?

As of 5/27/2024 They are now $1,199.99 from Real Truck. My Gator FX3 Broke at the 2nd hinge. I purchased it January 2021 (It only has 2 years of warranty) The MX4 has 5 years of warranty.

Did you try replacing the intercooler as well? I know you were chasing a heat problem and I’m doing the same thing. I’ve done the radiator and looking TJ do larger trans cooler and intercooler.

This is awesome man I’ve been really discouraged trying to outfit my 12th gen lots of tacky parts on the market compared to other trucks, going to fabricate bumpers this design is super simple and functional and looks great.

So does the motor that turns the flap still operate? Im thinking that because the gear broke off - the motor just turns and turns whenever the HVAC is on. Seems like i can hear mine trying to shut the recirc door until it "senses resistance". Do you have a recirc motor disable solution? Great idea with the zipties by the way!

As far as security and the knife test everyone talks about, how about someone using a stiff piece of brazing rod with a hook on it to slide between the tail gate and the top to pull on the cable. My neighbor opened his leer 350 with a screwdriver!
