To me the scyscrapers era has gone along with Twin Towers. That was and still is the most simple in shape yet amazingly beautiful high-rise building complex in the world. Everything 'after' as well as 'before' looks too much bizzare.

People often think of New York as a city, a concrete jungle with soaring skyscrapers and yellow taxis and the bright lights of Times Square. And it is that, in part. But beyond that, it's rolling hills of fruit orchards and fields of grain and ice-cold waters brimming with oysters.

The tower with the waterfall could be more energy efficient if they installed water wheels under the running water and stored
the energy from it. It is kind counter productive in the sense that it costs money to run the waterfall, but that stored energy could be repurposed to run the building and save money in the end.

Like having life preservers in a boat every apartment of office should have enough parachutes or hang gliders for everyone in them and everyone should know how to use them. In 1967 I saw Paolo Soleri's exhibit on Arcology that showed models of his buildings that were whole cities that could put 90% of the people on 10% of the land. I decided then and there I wanted to be part of the 10% of the people on 90% of the land.
