    My hiking guide for Cherry Mountain and its Mt Martha and Owl’s Head peaks located in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Cherry Mountain (Mt Martha) counts for the “52 With a View” (52WAV) hiking list. The 52 With a View list, created by the Over the Hill Hikers, consists of 52 mountains in New Hampshire with elevations under 4,000 feet but still have amazing views. This video is part of my series where I attempt to find the best day hikes in New Hampshire’s white Mountains. Specifically, Cherry Mountain is located near Carrol NH in the White Mountain National Forest.

      Glad you liked it Cathy. What do you think of having it split into two videos versus how to was all together in earlier ones?

      Glad it was helpful! Really trying to change up the videos with the hiking in one and the guides in another. Contemplated just going with something super abridged in the main videos. Do you enjoy the longer type guides on the videos?

      @@AdamHoyt i think everything you're doing is great my bro! Excellent pacing, cinematography, just the right amount of commentary. Great personality! Funny! In my opinion your drone footage is next level stuff even when compared to Nahampsha and KHH. Its only a matter of time until your # of views are on pace with them! The trail guide at the end of the videos is great as well! Im glad to be an Adam Hoyt OG ! Haha

    Adam, what time of year would you say spring begins in NH? I'd love to visit, but I'd like to avoid having to deal with too much snow if possible. As a kid I'd often go to MA in the early to mid summer and it was definitely nice. Would you recommend going any earlier than that?

    • @AdamHoyt
      @AdamHoyt  Před 3 lety +1

      Hey M. So one thing to consider when it comes to hiking in New Hampshire in the next few months is what they call "mud season". It may have stopped snowing but there is still a significant amount of snow on the ground and it all still needs to melt, which will make everything wet and muddy even if the snow is gone. Sometimes in certain select spots snow pack lasts in to June! It all depends on the trail that you do. I would say though hiking in later May you should be fine for the most part. Before taking hiking more seriously with my channel and needing to have content all year long I'd only had ever begun hiking around NH in May at the earliest. It all depends on the trail and I'd recommend researching the conditions of certain mountains and trails before you go.
