An anthem what a cracking song
An anthem for the 3.3 million unemployed during the 80's when the Thatcher government destroyed the country.
such a great song, i was obsessed with it when i first found it, it's a bit absurd how "happy" it sounds compared to the lyrics, probably one of the reasons I love it so much.. reminds me of one of my favourite camus quotes:
"the struggle itself towards the heights is enough to fill a man's heart"
I loved this at the time. Still at primary school when it came out.
