    Just bought a second hand XF Jag ....was gonna get an XF Sv8, but at 150k miles on the clock, head ruled heart and I went for the petrol 3ltr v6....under 50k on the clock, one owner...and unlike the interior of the Jag on this vid that looks like the inside of a knocking shop, the one I bought has cream leather so much much nicer place to be....the car always gets good comments from others and better yet is that sound and drive....having driven both Mercs (supercharged) and 5 series BMWs, I can’t believe I never tried a Jag before.....absolutely great car.

      @@eralddesa9493 Yes, so far no problems for me. I love that the car is not too electronically complex, so the chances of breaking is much lower, everything works like it should. Maintenance is not as expensive as the world makes it out to be, it’s so comfortable and amazing to drive, sound insulation is great.

I know some people who get confused between two cars, then make the pick based on how good or stylish the lighting looks.

    I don't get the fixation on "sporty"
    You want a sports car, buy that. If I want a "luxury saloon" , then I would like it to be luxurious right?

    • @rp6523
      @rp6523 Před 3 lety

      For me, it's wanting something comfortable that you can also feel connected to. It doesn't have to be a sports car, just dynamic enough to enjoy. Sports cars are too focused for some

    to me the e-class, 5-series and S90 seemed equally quiet/noisy. the Jaguar seemed to be noisier than those 3 yet they praised it for how quiet it was while the Volvo got marked down for noise though to me it was the same as the Mercedes and bmw.you can also get the BMW with auto braking and night vision to help spot pedestrians and animals at night.

      Merc interiors is for teenagers and youtube 'review' confirmation bias. BMW is where simplicity wins. Too bad they didn't show Audi. They have the most mature and calmly elegant design right now.

    • @appelpower1
      @appelpower1 Před 7 lety +2

      It's not really minimalistic elegance. The Volvo has a minimalist interior, with the straight lines, the big screen and the serenity of it all. In fact, Scandinavian design (which the S/V90 cabin is a brilliant example of) has 'minimalistic elegance' written all over it.
      BMW interiors are mostly boring because they look too much alike. That said, I personally love the stretched-out lines of the 6-Series cabin.

    • @the80386
      @the80386 Před 7 lety +2

      appelpower1 I would like the volvo interior but the problem is too much dependence on central touch screen. not a big fan of touch screens. despite looking 'cool', the lack of tactile feedback means one has to take eyes off the road and look at the screen to do a task. that increases risk. single or even multi function buttons and knobs are better at this since one can feel his/her way into the right button or knob keeping eyes on road the whole time.

      arr eet bmw and audi i agree not mercedes is just the standard for executive cars there is way too much cheap plastic in the jiblet yea it does have some decent petrol engines from ferrari and can keep up with bmw in the bends but its way over priced for what it is the space in the back is less than a 3 series its really cramped for its size.

    I prefer BMW and jag/Volvo. The only impressive thing about the E-class is the dashboard, it's just not as aggressive looking as the others. Mercedes is a comfort cruiser whereas the BMW keeps you attached to the road and gives you the proper feel of the type of road your driving at. BMW doesn't look old at all. It looks stunning the the black gloss paint job. All the people calming that BMW interiors are boring are wrong. They have quality. Coming from a family that owns BMWs and the 5 series as well. The whole whole cars cabin is covered in subtle leather. You won't find a single cheap plastic feel anywhere. I hope they don't mess up the shape of the new 5 series.
