    Nice!! I just did the shoe only on my Glock 10mm MOS. About to do it again on my new 17 gen 5! $32 from Primary Arms for such a huge upgrade without changing the OEM internals.
    Great install video! Only thing I did different is I used regular pliers on the extended position, and just press fitted the roll pin in to place. Only had to give it a tiny tap with a punch afterwards. Gave me much more control

    Thanks for the tip on the trigger pin, they can be a bear sometimes. I’ve seen Lenny at the Glock Store drive one out with a hammer while doing a demo. Great video sir, thanks.

    If you tap on the the pin on a flat surface it will score the blind side and give you a precise location to set your punch on. You will spare your oem shoe with a cosmetically pleasing hole.

      Yeah man lay on a board get right size punch smack that pin until it scores the blind side. Then flip it and use a scratch awl to knock it out.

      I saw johnny glocks do it and it's worth trying to save the oem shoe rather than knocking I fucking crater out of the polymer imo. We did this with my girls g48 she doesn't like the serrated trigger

    Hey bud quick question. I purchased the same shoe for my g48. What I noticed however is when I went back together , the hole on the shoe wasn’t near as close as yours for the pin to go back through the frame , block , shoe , etc… I had to pull the trigger bar towards the muzzle to get everything lined up. I felt as though this was wrong but their customer service was poor at best. Looking for other insight?

      Definitely different price points. I really thought about doing a JG also, but then I thought: at the end of the day, it's still going to be a striker/Glock trigger. It's never going to be like a 1911 and this also isn't a precision weapon. So for me, cost was the deciding factor

    Question for OP I have a gen 5 Glock 20 believe it or not I actually shoot very well with stock. I have the overwatch precision complete kit and while it is lighter it's not as crisp and a bit spongy. The spongy trigger ended up leaving me less consistent and ended up going back to stock. Your thoughts

    • @regulardudegungearreviewsh3132
      @regulardudegungearreviewsh3132  Před 6 měsíci

      I apologize for the late reply. I feel like I don't get all of my notifications for replies. I have only had one complete OP trigger and it felt the same as my other Glocks that I just changed the trigger shoe on. I wonder if maybe you got a dud? Did you try reaching out to OP to see what they'd say? Maybe they'll send you a replacement

      @@regulardudegungearreviewsh3132 the entire kit was first my 19x and g31. I haven't done anything with gen 5 g20 because they only have polished trigger bars and when you polish the surface you are removing the hardening making less safe.

    I have a late question for someone who’s installed this before: I just put a PolyDAT shoe on my Gen3 G19 (yay!). But after installation the shoe doesn’t swivel as freely as I would expect. I mean, it rotates freely, but doesn’t swivel loosely (like with the trigger bar on its side, the shoe doesn’t rotate freely when I just move the bar back and forth). Does that make sense? Is that normal? The trigger feels fine and returns appropriately. I’m just worried I fouled the pin / trigger bar / shoe in installation and created a source of friction.

    • @regulardudegungearreviewsh3132
      @regulardudegungearreviewsh3132  Před rokem

      I think that's normal. As long as it doesn't feel like it's bound up. But even more importantly, the fact that it's operating fine I think is key

      @@regulardudegungearreviewsh3132 Thanks! After posting this question here, I found on forums that many people had to drill a small amount of material from the hole on the trigger bar that accepts the pin. They blamed the coiled pin design for being too snug. I’m willing to try it. It’s an old gun and I’ve got a backup trigger bar if I mess it up.
