- Reading is only 25 minutes from London by train making the University of Reading an attractive university for students wanting convenient travel into London.
In this video students on the International Foundation Programme at the University of Reading travel to London by train to see how easy it is to get to London from the University of Reading and have a day out sight seeing.
Join IFP students Almas, Christine and Alejandro as they take a bus from the University of Reading Whiteknights Campus to Reading Station and then take the train direct to Paddington Station in London. They then see some of the famous sights of London including Big Ben, the London Eye, Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square and Buckingham Palace.

Great video!
Great video thanks 😊👍
Very nice video my friend
Nice video! I'm not sure you are allowed to ride that Lion in Trafalgar Square :-) I liked your use of the street performers music in edits. Someone mentioned costs in one comment. It is about £2 each way on the bus. The cost of travel, Reading to London, depends upon what time you travel. It can be quite expensive but as long as you don't go in business hours it comes down quite a bit. Ask for a Travelcard, that will get you to London and on the Underground. Off peak it is about £24 but there are various railcards you can get that will bring that down to about £17
