I installed the update this morning on my OnePlus 12. Security patch is still April. Oneplus is a little bit slow in releasing new updates.

Security patches from OEM will include stability/security and bug fixes, smoothness is based on the OS that you have... so smoothness in terms of animations/transitions may not improve but lags and stutters may Go way

Never really understood this update on wat does it bring to the phone. Plus unlike security patch update they must give the changelog so that we can understand what it is !!
