Do these pickups use the Gibson quick connect? Or did they do away with that?
I bought a set of "Brandonwound" pickups for my guitar tech in Atlanta for his Gibson Firebyrd a few yrs ago and he LOVED them.

Those Greeny buckers sound killer man..
And they sound way closer to an actual late 50s PAF than either the 57 classics Bursrbuckers and even the Custmmbuckerrs as great as they sound are less PAF like compared to the Greeny Buckers .
Excellent comparison I just got my Greenybuckers installed today in my Epi Lazarus what a fantastic sound . i really like the underwound sounds of the 57 and the p 90 thanks gibson happy holidays and happy new year

Is Jarod Brandon the originator of BRANDONWOUND pu's? Those old Brandonwound P.A.F pickups are killer!
They used to sell on ebay for under $150 a set and were just insanely good!

For anybody who doesn't know Jared Brandon used to have his own pickup making company called brandonwound pickups... he sold it to his understudy Zach but he made great stuff so this was a good move to get him for Gibson

I have learned,through buying a PRS guitar,that less windings on a pickup allow more and sweeter tone.
When sampling pick ups, I would prefer a clean tone. It’s easier to determine the difference.

How would the Dirty Fingers + Compare to the SM ?
Replace the ceramic magnet in the Dirty fingers with an Alnico 5 and thank me later
I had an AlNiCo 4 magnet laying around and it made the Dirty Fingers + I pulled out of my V sound crazy musical for a hot wind. Perfectly balanced EQ. I might try a unoriented A5 I have somewhere if I can find it.

Hello 👋 How would the new Gibson P-90 DC pickup sound in the bridge position with the factory Gibson P-100 neck pickup in my 1998 Gibson Les Paul Special P-100?
The underworld humbuckers sound a bit like Epihpone classics. Without the muddiness. Prefer the Regular Gibson sound.

I continue any difference on the 57 classics. I've been going back and forth trying to compare bridge to bridge and neck to neck. Maybe its different when your in their studio.
They didn't have a clip of the undrewound 57 in the bridge for some reason.
@@adamwatson6916 I have a 2017 classic lp with the 57 plus . I guess they are wound a little more ? Hmmm.
The only thing obvious is the Gibson money grab. Every few years they magically figured out how to nail the PAF tone, or get closer to it. Just stop. There is no single PAF tone. People need to stop buying into the BS
