    I have a 50 cm ASP Talon and also 2 Monadnocks. A 22” and a 26”. I’ll take a Monadnock over an ASP all day long.

      Here's what I'm doing: I cut a broomstick into different lengths and wielded them to see how it felt vs expectations. I like the longer reach -- which is ultimately a baton is supposed to do. Now, if your TOP priority is something that can be concealed in a pocket, then that's going to drive your purchase -- maybe more than the reach factor. Because something is better than nothing, rt?

    Anyone know the legality of batons in BC Canada and can I order one online

    • @dl.4192
      @dl.4192 Před 3 lety +4

      Apparently, it's illegal to have any weapon if you are going to use it for self-defensive. But Canadian law says nothing against owning batons, though. Just use a selfie stick and it won't look as sketchy.
      Here's a link for batons: www.tacticalgadgets.ca/is-this-legal/

    What batons do police carry?

    • @Milestactical
      @Milestactical  Před 5 lety

      Police usually carry a 21" or 26" baton. It can be either Talon or Friction loc style depending on what the department will issue.

    How durable are these ?

    • @Milestactical
      @Milestactical  Před 5 lety +6

      They are very durable when used how they were designed to be used. They are not meant to break windows or to hit very hard objects. (there are endcaps for breaking windows) Law enforcement will train to target softer vulnerable areas of an opponents body.
