Today I'll be giving my personal rankings of Jasons Iconic Hockey Masks throughout the Friday the 13th film series...

I've always liked both the mask and overal design of Jason from part 7 most. The fact that he's full on zombiefied by that film with bones and teeth exposed through the decayed flesh, etc but the part 9 mask is a very close second as I also like the way it's enbedded into the flesh of his face like it's not just a mask anymore but an actual part of him
I've always really liked the Roy part 5 mask. Really like the blue chevrons. I was lucky enough to win a part 5 mask from crash Cunningham a few years back. Crash does a stellar job with his masks.
As far as the Platinum Dunes hockey mask, I actually thought the alternate scene for Jason acquiring that mask was better. It felt more in the spirit of the classic films and sort of a nod to how Jason took it from Shelley in part 3.
The Jason X Uber mask is one of those designs that looks cool, it's just not for Jason, like Jared Letos Joker, an interesting design for a character its just not Joker.
I remember on the DVD commentary for Jason X, they said they always wanted to give Jason a metal mask even while developing Freddy vs Jason and when Jason X was in production, they figured it was an opportunity to put it there instead. So had Jason X never existed, Jason's merchandise in the 2000s could've looked... different.

Friday the 13th part 3's novel shows Jason wearing a different mask and I love it.
My favorite is the platinum dunes Mask. My favorite Jason as a whole tbh. Guys an absolute killer.
The JGTH hockey mask is so cool. It's always been a favorite of mine along with the Og Shelly mask. The way that part 3 mask curved around his head just looked so smooth and nice. These are two I'm planning on getting replicas of
Part 7 is the best mask and best Jason, just because you can't really separate the two. In Manhattan something was lost, I can't place it...maybe Kane being a bit bigger but not in a good way? But in 7 he is in amazing shape and it just shows, from the visible breathing he brought to the mix, to his physique, to the body weathering. Part 7 Jason is pure beast.

Great video. Have to say, I have always had a soft spot for Uber Jason from Jason X. Always thought the mask from the beginning of the movie was a little weird looking. Probably the nose. Have you done a Cenobite ranking video? Would be great.
I like normal jason in jason X. Looked sweet. Makes it scarier
And it's a very sleek design. Especially the nose. And that's probably because the shape of the mask is actually based on the Jason Goes to Hell poster mask just not a metal color.
The stunt mask used in part 3 and 4 is my favorite. But part 4 The Final Chapter look is my favorite overall.

The part 4 stunt mask is the part 3 stunt mask just like the 75 Kirk used in Halloween is the same used in Halloween 2.

jason 8 i love the most, looks very pristine not unlike the rest of them.
I liked both masks from Jason X and i dislike the mask with the blue markings, yes i know it wasn't him but at the time we didn't know that. Another one my favs was from Jason takes Manhattan
In all honesty I love the hockey mask but for me the best Jason mask is the hillbilly sack head, it's so damn creepy!

@@dubuyajay9964it was a Friday the 13th with a hockey mask. That alone I feel makes it valid to include. It would be one thing if he included his mom's severed head or the bag. I'm not knocking you and get where you're coming from but like 90 percent of that movie your first time watching you think it is Jason. It's just a hockey mask in a film series. That said it would make more sense if he left Jason out of the title and said ranking friday the 13th hockey mask.
I like all the masks except for Jason X. As far as the entire Jason outfit, I didn’t like anything after Jason goes to hell the whole parka look is ridiculous to me.
