This actually happened with me also , I bought Renault Kwid 3 yrs ago and they gave my accidental car 🚗 I cased against them and they gave me new car in change , it's common nowadays

This is the first time I have ever heard that a car company giving replacement. Nahi toh ek brand new tiago wale customer ka delivery ke din hi engine check light aaya tha…unka pura engine change kiya par gaadi nayi nahi mili unko.

I can assure you that it happened at the workshop, precisely the body shop. Mine's Baleno Alpha 2019. Same happened with me when I claimed insurance for replacement of rear bumper, it was in the body shop of Maruti Service Centre for more than a month. One can easily feel the roughness of paint. I think it happens when the car enters the painting booth.

It can happen to any vehicle; these are sand particles that stick to the car whenever the car is parked in open spaces where construction work is ongoing.
It happened with my VW Taigun also, I was worried, but I cleaned the car with concentrated sanitiser and water mixture 2-3 times, and it went away with time.

Try the sanitiser solution.

The best solution to this problem is writing a mail to regional head, India head, and in japan office there is always a person who is responsible for all issues in India with all the proofs of the issue.

Arun bhai he is right, meri car me bhi same hua tha dealership me, unke yaha paint booth nahi hai, when they paint other cars then unka paint ud ke aa jata hai pass wali cars pe, and 90% logo ke sath ye hota hai but kisi ko farq nahi padta
it is overspray paint most car dealers/service stations sometimes don’t paint every panel in paint booth while painting other cars so a good amount paint in form pin pricks type drops gets carried by wind in air. Probably might have happened when your fortuner was there for tyre claim.
A good compounding and polishing will do the job. Also recommend that you visit some knowledgeable auto detailers which can correctly diagnose the issue coz they have good products, in the end its your car you gotta care for it.
Small possibility is that, car is repainted but it is highly unlikely given the car is shiny and paint is not dull. And even if it was repainted sometimes 1 or 2 panels can be repainted coz they might hv been damaged during transport to dealer. So company tells the to dealer to carry out repairs on his own cost and then sell the car.

Dealership lobby is very strong. They arm twist the car manufacturers. Car manufacturers have to play as puppets in the hands of dealerships. Because dealerships only give manufacturers the desired sales.
Additionally, Indian laws also don't support consumers much. Consumers are only at the mercy of dealerships and so are the manufacturers.
THis should change..No dealer should have such monipoly over a Consumer who has paid 35lac + from his nose...bhalehi weh youtuber hi kyuna ho jo lakhon main kamata ho....like him....More important all dealers should have now Toyoto japanese inspector in India who understands our language and concerns so that, such incidents dont happen...Our problem is everyone is trying to sell to target thier sales KPI due to heavy competition, but forget focus on Customer Experience and Service Q....

Complaint karna aur usko follow up karna banta hai but paint correction should be done by a good detailer. Service center wale are not capable neither they have good products for compounding and polishing.
The issue is not with Arun. It is with Heavy Driver. His channel is not working and he is always taking Arun in his side for these fights. Arun is getting used as a scapegoat. Hope he understands it and fix his image.
