  • Do I complain about Florida weather all of July - September? Absolutely! But I like to think Florida makes it up to us by gifting us a wonderful "cooler" growing season. I am absolutely thrilled to be sharing my first purchase of roses made online with you, and will continue to share updates here and on my Instagram. Roses purchased from Heirloom Roses are a Joseph's Coat, Dark Desire, and a Portlandia. Planted in my Earth Box Root and Veggie container, soon to be added to my automatic watering system.

🌞 My garden set up includes:
    * The official Earth Box store has a lot of color combinations, so it's worth going direct. I would suggest getting the casters, totally worth it and SO helpful. Also where you can get the automatic watering system made officially for their system.

The below you can get at Home Depot as well, these are just some quick links for reference:
🌶 City Pickers: (check Home Depot website for color offerings)

Use a modified Earth Box Automatic Watering System for most of these, see video

💧 Rain Bird: I started with their 40 piece patio watering set up and went from there. This is a good support system I found on Amazon though:

Automatic Watering Timer by Rain Bird (not for the main Earth Box/ City Picker set up):

*I've tried the straight metal ones from Home Depot and Amazon and they always rust and corrode with my Florida water, and these have been holding up well so far. *

I am a lover of the Joseph's Coat climbing rose. Mr Lincoln is okay too but to me nothing is more stunning than the Joseph's Coat. I am sure since this vid is a year old they are a good size now. Nice vid Heirloom Rose's is indeed one of the best companies.

If you check out the garden tours from summer 22 you can see them! They got rehomed before a cross country move and shortly thereafter got taken out by a hurricane 😔 I can't wait to try new varieties in our new garden!!

What are the sizes of your heirloom roses' pots? What's the size of the pot you're planting them into? Thank you
