I was 28, working security at the National Research Council in Ottawa. I had A Little More Love on a Sony Walkman and I listened to that tape a hundred times. I felt that Canada did not properly acknowledge her genious when she died. I do quite a bit of spontaneous prayer and I think I may have prayed for her today; it's not obsession but sincere admiration.
She is an incredible vocalist her range makes you think "oh I can sing this" then it like "oh my god" she is underrated in my opinion. Her high notes are incredible. Fantastic voice.
I was also around 9 or 10 when I would listen to her "8 Track Cassette" that had her Picture of her Beautiful Face just above the surface of a pool of water... I felt that Canada did not properly acknowledge her genious when she died.
