Where was the “Star Trek Strange New Worlds Season 3 Teaser” from the title? When was this video actually produced? There is a lot of reference as to “when the strike ends” which was a couple of months ago.
First of all, many of us know about the writers’ and actors’ strike and how it affected productions. Secondly, the narrator sounds as though he is high on speed.
Whats wrong with the guy narrating this? He needs to calm down a little.

One thing that frustrates me about this show...isn't it supposed to take place in Kirk's era? TOS? Why does it look like modern Star Trek? It should be lit brightly (modern trek needs to be lit brightly too....real Navy ships and real spaceships such as the ISS aren't dark like that) and have tactile input like in TOS.
They took a little artistic license and made the ship/sets look like what Roddenberry would have likely done if they had the technology to do so. TOS was the 1960s and TOS was made in what they thought the future might look like. But we have Tech today that outshines TOS's vision by miles. Why would they make an Enterprise with toggle switches and momentary buttons that TOS used in the 60's when we have touch screens and holo displays now (250 years before the show is set)? They just updated the "look" of the show for modern times but kept the "feel" of the TOS. Personally I think it is a great way to keep the show true to the origins while dropping the jankyness of the outdated special effects. I also dont see the "dark" your talking about. The Enterprise looks well lit to me. Remember that in the 60's color television was still fairly new. They had to use exaggerated colors for the film at the time to display well. Not everyone had color TV at the time. So they had to use "stage lights" to exaggerate everything to make it show well on the LOW definition TV's of the day and make it work in black and white as well as color. Remember TV's of the 60's did not even have 240 p resolution let alone the 4k that we have now. So we dont need the exaggerated colors or the exaggerated lighting to get everything to film and show well. With digital filming we get a more realistic look and feel.

meh. The problem you run into with that is that you have a "prequel" from 70 years before TNG where you're using the same tech as TNG.
The original characters should be left as the original characters, not brought back as kiddies in an effort to revive the second-rate writing of this brilliantly conceived series. Work on the writing...the great characters are already entrenched. Now write something worthy of this potentially wonderful addition to a lagging franchise.
So, why so much footage from Kelvin universe which is definitely not a thing? Hope this is not a human narrator because it sucks. 😢
