Fab played it like Freddy Kruger, he kept it real slick, with slick lines catching you sleeping like Freddy would. Jada played it more rugged and raw like Jason would and Jada's real name is also Jason. These guys killed it, OGs from a different music era.

Fab is the most ''underrated'' rapper to ever touch the mic. People never talk about him or give him credits because he never had that Nas or Pac-style and he always did his own thing. ''real'' hip hop fans even say he isnt hip hop and he gets allot of hate because he always had that club-style music and did some collabs with people who are hated. But fck that i love fab nobody can touch his wordplay and ill always fck with him.
I agree his wordplay is the best. Jada's verse might fit the theme better but I just stop listening after Fab's verse cuz of Jada's boring ass flow
Greatest punchline rapper ever and top 10 pen game ever. If you followed him from the start, the clue tapes, the triangle offense, the street dream and losos way tapes, and so many classic features in all regions, freestyles on others beats and punches lost forever the early 00s mixtape wave, then you know about the animal that man is. Great times. And he had that LL/Jay ability top reinvent himself and stay current. His influence of punch heavy flow influenced this generation. Big Sean and Drake in particular are of the Mase/Fab tree.

Fab is the greatest NY rapper better than Biggie,Nas,Jay and I've been listening to rap a long time. sheer volume of tracks ,bars and mixtapes punch after punch
What was missed was how they both took on each character. Jada was more straightforward and his depiction of Jason. But fabulous took on the characteristics of Freddy. If you remember in the movie. Freddy Krueger was a more swaggy killer with the punchline are things like that. Where Jason with a more straightforward kill it where it was more scary to see Jason come in and kind of more funny and chill to see Freddy coming, cause you wanted to see what he was going to say so they embodied the two characters well in this intro.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Fab seemed to veer away from the theme. He gave us 'glimpses' of Freddy's characteristics but he didn't truly 'EMBODY' the character imo.

RodTheFearless true they both tremendous rappers but to me this is what separates the two...jadakiss is more creative lyrically imo and his punchlines are up there with any GOAT.
It really helps me, that you break down the lyrics and explain the references. For me as a german metalhead, that cultural and scene specific stuff is just too far away. Thanks to you I can appreciate rap more!

Lmao Jada and Fab kept us hella waiting but it's all worth it !!! Starting off with George being savage to Ryan with the Mario beat was funny lol. That Pookie New Jack City reference was crazy off the bat from Fab and his slick basketball references were on point with the two three. Jada also killed his verse man definitely hall of fame status with his gritty Jason friday the 13 embodying lines with the walking I still catch you. One of my favorite songs to date that hit my playlist. Amazing job well done guys for this video.

Both dudes ate this track. First time I heard it, I was like damn, Fab came on strong af. I was interested to see how Jada was gonna play this one and he took it to another place man. Jada verse was sick man.
Amazing rapping from both throughout the tape, but some of the production choices weren't what I was expecting from these 2. Still was a solid project overall tho.
Yall should check out "The Hope" from Fab and Jada from The Soul Tape 3 if you haven't heard it yet......They both caught bodies on that track too. And it's on one of those epic sounding Just Blaze type beats. I think Arab producted it.
