its definitely not their best overall project but there's definitely some gems in there like butterfly effect.
That was a bunch of fun to listen. And jewice has gotten a lot better since clockwork dropped. Just Issa and AK have a different flow then FBZ so even though I love to listen to them individually. It’s hard when the song transitions from meech, to AK, to Erick, to Issa then jewice. It just doesn’t feel like a FBZ or UA song sounds even though the bars are fucking amazing

A Cb105 I don’t think being white has anything to do with it. It’s all about where you’re raised. My wife is 40 (and white), and understands hip hop perfectly. She grew up in the Bronx though.
12:42 I actually disagree with Ryan when he says that they went back and did their research. Flatbush Zombies genuinely grew up listening to all of that great hip-hop so it was mainly their primary influences that they were touching on so getting the names of albums and tracks probably didn't require research but rather from their head due to growing up with them.
It wasn't that literal. He wasn't saying that they didn't experience it and had to basically 'wiki' it to fake it. And if YOU took it that literally, you probably think they remembered every album off the top of their heads or didn't use them to reference when they were writing lol

The creativity in the lyrics is crazy you can tell they studied the craft cuz you gotta know the history or rap to even remember some of these titles from legends and OGs of the rap game. Flatbush had a couple hits wayback when they were really out there with ASAP Mob but its refreshing to hear some new joints. Big ups for the dope reaction Lost In Vegas !!

Headstone is off their newest album Vacation In Hell, which is good, but Better Off Dead is the tape where these guys really snapped.
I would recommend doing the song AmeriKKKan Pie from it.
Album of the year without doubt and i say that as a huge J Cole and Logic fan.

For example, what if another meaning is actually referring to Capstone, which is what you work on in college to show an example of the culmination of all you've learned since you started school? So this song, exemplifying the history of rap and hip hop shows what they've personally learned from it along with all their hard work and creativity.
