I think the difference in feel is caused by the still blade. The space inbetween the teeth on the psycho blade are V shaped, whereas the X-pro has U shaped spacing. Also, the ends of the teeth on the psycho blade a pointy whereas the X-Pro blade has more rounded teeth. I think these features give the x-pro a slightly softer touch
Many blades hit just like the XPro what none of them can do is be as comfortable

I bought the candy trio and didn't realise just how awesome they were til I had to use my old set and wow...I knew I loved the TPOB but they are like a knife through butter especially the trimmers...and the baby skull are genius for getting those tiny hairs in the crease of the ear that the double width foilers can't hit ... love TPOB ❤

@@thewoodshedbarber i had to buy a slime green xo bundle set off Amazon because when i tried to get a black set I asked on his live stream why such a long wait (10 days before shipping then 1-2 weeks for actual shipping ) he called me a brokie for buying the “refurbished” ones and said “can you not read” that if I wanted them faster I should have bought new.
I tried to cancel my black set order but they do not do cancelation so I bought 2 sets spending over 450$ but these are becoming very popular very highly spoken about great reviews so I really want to try them but now I have over paid and in the mists of it insulted
And it's USB-C fast charging which makes a huge difference. I agree with the blade that can slightly snag sometimes. I would like to see an indent on the back of the trimmer for your thumb when doing a line up. I got mine in the bundle, so about $94

I can really appreciate this style of review I'm definitely taking notes for my videos. the xo is just more square vs the rounder x imo the x handles better. My only complaint between the xo combo was the lack of a usb c dock but I understand why it was not present.

Could you try out the gold psycho blade? Would love to see if it's closer to the one blades. Since it lacks the black coating they say, it's a bit more sharp
I have and I think the only difference I’ve noticed is it’s a little quiter

If the charging dock doesn’t bother you yes. And soon he will have the x with a charging dock

Both got about the same loud. What I call Babyliss loud so still very usable

Get the magnetic mat..... it is soooo cool ....especially on my black workbench... now I can find my combs and TPOB have 6 magnets whereas all others have 4 ....and it's quality for the price ,,,I bought the candy trio and had no docking stations so the mat is a game changer
It only comes in slime but I love it...all my clients compliment it too
