A lot of people miss the real meaning of this tool. The same control this awesome brave man is using to play games, is going to be used to take any person; not only handicapped people; and let them do things that a human cannot normally do. Like control an Exoskeleton hands free. This takes you from quadraplegic to almost moving normally in one surgery. Remote wireless control of tools will be very useful in almost every workplace too. Neuralink has infinite uses and the independence it will give to humanity is a level of independence without precedence. I really hope to see this at full potential before I die.

This kind of technology could be dangerous as well if left unchecked, like an invasion of privacy (if the tech allows for GPS) or removal of bodily control when it fails at random times if it's quadriplegic like you mentioned. Won't pretend that I understand the science behind it and its potential detriments to both mind and society, but this kind of tech can indeed save a lot of lives or at least make it better for those who need it.

When I was in High School, specifically in 1977, I saw the SECOND development of the first computer that could recognize words spoken to it. Every word for each user had to be programmed, and the speaker had to be VERY close to the way they trained the computer, but once trained, you could say, One, Two, Three and it would echo it to the display. Interestingly, that computer did not have a typewriter like keyboard interface, it had a hexadecimal keyboard, and all the commands had to be entered that way. We are now approaching the point where we will be able to have live translation of any language on the planet as it is spoken by ANY person.
