Coming from skating Nike Sb blazers, I really wanted to try to skate a Vans shoe. I have never skated Vans and I saw that the old skool had a strikingly similar silhouette to the blazers. The shoe broke in very quickly (within 30 minutes) and I felt like they had more padding than the blazer and more board feel. I do feel that blazers will protect you from ankle rolls more, but I just might stick with old skools as my go to skate and casual shoe.
Those shoes look like they were skated longer than 30 hours i guess it just because the durability isn't great I'd like to try a pair of these but spending 80$ for it to have a chance to give me an ollie hole isn't worth it i don't understand why they can't put suede in that spot for old schools

Putting canvas where you drag your ollie is a terrible design choice. Mine blew out immediately
Mine had a hole in 4 days and I got some old vans with suede and cut a patch and they’ve been going for a while
real skate pros have found a workaround for this, get better

Vans Blazers are the Sk8-hi, not the Old Skool. ;)

100% agree. Ive given up on Vans. How could a "skate" shoe put freaking CANVAS right where alot of people ollie. I dont get it.
