Eritrea is for Eritrean only. Eritrea has always been an independent sovereign country that had marked sovereign territory since the 18th century which is earlier than all the Eritrean neighbouring countries.
Why so many Eritreans flee the country?
1- because Pre. Obama coming to Ethiopia said that all Eritreans should be given a green card in the USA or Europe, this agitation caused many Eritreans to flee their country,
2-Eritrea was under brutal sanction by the US, its allies, and the UN without proof for decades. so plenty of Eritreans were unemployed due to economic problems created by the sanction & forced to leave their country.
