- The Disney Electrical Sky Parade from Disneyland Paris premiered on January 8th 2024 to start the brand new Disneys Symphony of Colour season on a high note
Based heavily on the much loved Main Street Electrical Parade this brand new evening spectacular lights up the sky each night with 500 drones bringing much colour to the winter nights at Disneyland Paris
The show features illuminated Drone floats that symbolize former Main Street Electrical Parade icons, including Mickey’s train, Elliott from Pete’s Dragon and Cinderella’s carriage.
The parade’s beloved electro-syntho-magnetic music has been remixed to set the tempo for the spectacular display.

My first thought when I realized this is a drone show was that I’d hate it. Nothing beats the actual floats moving in front of you. But the show won me over. They made some impressive images with the drones. AND they had Elliott the Dragon AND he looked amazing, even shooting out puffs of smoke? Yeah, they did an insanely great job with this show.
Yup puffs of smoke from Elliot and some other drones shooting pyro! nothing does beat the traditional parade though in our minds
Be still my 90s kid heart. Currently emotional watching this as the MSEP was my favorite part of visiting as a kid

Because it's 'connect the dots' artwork in the sky via light bulbs. It's lame. No fireworks, no actual parade floats. This feels cheap.

I was afraid of the changes but absolutely loved it! My o ly concern is how is it from an angle? Do you have to view head on for the intended appearance?
Great point! we watched D Light before from around the Discovery land entrance and the rainbow was way over the left and should really be behind the castle. So yes I do think for the best view you need to be head on
It seems that being further back from the castle is also better - some of the videos I've seen seemed to be right at the front and I think that's too close for this show.

I mean they have the floats from California but there all damaged soooo...I guess this is the thing we are going to get..
I believe the only floats still in existence are the Anaheim ones.
It’s a great show in general, and having watched it live first night and then again now in this video it’s growing on me a bit more but still feels a little less impressive than I’d expected. It should have ended at 9:19 as the last section isn’t needed. This is a great addition to DLP however other Disney parks have stepped up the drone game already and this one feels a little version 1. But I’d happily watch again. 8/10
Which other Disney parks have stepped up the drone game ? Hong Kong are the only ones to use them, and if you speak about them, let me laugh please
@@baltimoregunclub427 Tokyo has been running 40th anniversary drones shows which were pretty spectacular and Shanghai have also used them to launch new lands and features. Neither Disney World or Disneyland Resort can use them due to air space restrictions. Hong Kong drones is a personal opinion I guess but we preferred that show over what DLP provided. That’s not to say that this wasn’t a great show. DLP is the only park that currently has a nightly drone show.

I dunno this is kind of lame compared to the real parade. The drones are slow and very basic. I don't get why this would be impressive? Light bulbs in the sky slowly rotating? Meh.

Vu comme les enfants dansaient et se dandinaient ce soir, ils adoreront. Il faut parfois savoir déconnecter avec les références modernes et laisser l’ambiance vous emporter. C’est un show 90’s, vintage, profitez
