Man even Bumblebees gotta warm up the car to get to work in the winter. Respec, Bumbledybee.
They drill holes in the side of Broad bean and runner bean flowers making them die and produce not bean pods. Bubble bees are a pest sadly.
@@legobrickabrac I wouldnt call them a pest. Even though they can destroy some plants, they help us more than anything.
@@EvangelineHawksley Well for Me like I said they distroy My broad bean and runner bean flowers and ruin My harvest. Each broad bean plant should have about 15 to 20 pods of beans on them at harvest but due to Bubble Bee damage I get one or two pods per plant and some times none at all.
@@legobrickabrac Do you have any flowers around them that they would like? Maybe try planting something they like far away from the beans so they go there in stead, or try putting a net over the bean plants if possible.
@@EvangelineHawksley Yes I have a huge confrey bush that's in flower at the same time as bean flowers, makes no difference. Can't use net as that would block smaller Bumble Bees and hunny bees who pollinate the beans.
I have developed a real affection for bumble bees. They are adorable and don’t deserve the bad press they get
People don't like bumblebees?
I like to pet them when they're on flowers
The are intelligent creatures.
I'm fine with them, I wouldn't ever kill one, but unfortunately I'm so scared of them I get into a state of shock, or just petrified, either way I don't like how big they are, and they way they fly, although I wouldn't ever kill one.
When the bumblebee starts to fly- Oh God, that's so beautiful.
@Jay L what are you on, moron?

TF YoU TalKiN BoUT BOii?
Thanks
Monster Steam honeybee hives first thing in the morning too. They all stand out getting ready then take off in in a coordinated group out to get the day’s food
Yes there were beautiful when flying XD
My heart is so broken for bumblebees. They die fast in this cold Wisconsin. Literally all the flowers disappear at the end of August.
Just about a month ago I found a hungry bumblebee on a flower. I made a sugar water and fed him (her) and he flew away. I was so happy. At that moment I decided to feed them if they would explore the food. I carved a long wood, made it like a plate. I put one in front of house and one back side of house. I melted 10 pounds of sugar in water and poured it into those wood plates as needed. For my surprise many bumblebees came every day, all day. In a month they finished more than 200 pounds of sugary water.
I am 57 year old and I am so terribly regret not exploring these most beautiful creatures in our planet. They are the most beautiful and useful creatures. They need our help more than ever….
Bless you for that. See my 'assisting a bumblebee' clip to see how intelligent and docile they can be. It was filmed in North Yorkshire, UK in September.
I love youuuuuu
sugar is not good for them, is actually bad for them if you keep feeding them sugar. why not do it properly if you wanna be such macho, you must feed them honey. honey is their food, thats what they make and eat. sugar is man made terrible product. you are harming them more than helping if you keep feeding them sugar. i can t wait animals get legal rights, including feeding them and what not to feed them, so that legal actions can be taken on people playing machos and wannabees ...
@@Spiritueli Somebody is very wrong here. I made my research very carefully before I feed them with sugar. Bumblebees do not make honey at all, and all the research I made says that honey is harmful to bumblebees because they can not, I say it again, they can not digest honey. Do not tell me I am macho man. You make your research again and reply to me again….

I stumbled across Mrs Bumble on my walk back from work, just barely crawling. I've a soft spot for wildlife so my hand became the ground upon she walked. Yes she could sting me which would be very bad for her and painful for me but at that time in her life I was just a warm object to climb on and heat up. Watching her wake up and clean herself from tip to toe(s) just from the heat of my hand.... so happy. I know where her nest is so when it's the right season I drop off little packets of food every two weeks or so just to help her out.
Nature blows my mind yet again.
The Bumblebee literally puts its wings out of gear?! Then revs itself up to get warm. Just like a car.
no, a car does it like a bee, just like a bee ...
Bees are so precious 🐝
Such beautiful gentle giants.🌻🐝
I kept a bumble for a few hours. Found it barely moving all crashed out on the path. Took it inside to feed it some honey, realized I had no honey so I mixed some white sugar with some water into a paste and put a blob in front of the bee. After a few seconds it started to drink and, a few minutes later, it had significantly recovered enough to stand up straight. It drank a second and then a third blob and within 20 minutes was slowly beating it wings. As the sugar rush kicked in Fred the Bee could beat its wings so fast you could hear it from the next room and my daughter came in to investigate. She screamed at first but after a while she grew accustomed to Fred and they became friends. Unfortunately I had to return Fred to the wild so we said our goodbyes and I opened the window for him and he departed.
I love hearing the bees in the spring and those Queens start new life each spring. The sound of them reminds me how important they are to us! The world needs bumble bees!
Bees are so gorgeous. Remember folks plant plenty of perrenial bushes like fuchsia and hollyhock types for the bumblebees :)
How do you do my fellow chosen? Lol. Nice reference.
no i ll rather fuck that plant a tree
Lavender
I have allergies really bad to pollen

I found that planting carrot tops (after you sever the main root and let the carrot top sit in water to grow top foliage) are phenomenal for pollinating insects for months. The carrot tops continue to bloom continuously, and supported a small ecosystem of pollinators in my garden; including swallowtail butterfly caterpillars. I now have a traditions of planting as many sprouted carrot tops around the property to draw in all the bees :3

That dangly bee foot of hers 😂
My arms in the morning be like
Lovin her fur jumpsuit. Bees are so fab
Perfectly illustrates the hidden wonders all around us.
Bumblebees in real life sound like helicopters when they get near you. It’s funny. My grandmothers yard always had lots and lots of bumblebees. They were BIG sometimes.
Ride of the Bumblebees.
A bunch of bees run into me sometime I feel bad when they do ;-;

When I was younger bees really scared me but now at the age of 18 I'm fascinated by them and really like them.
I love the creatures of earth so much! 😭
Me toooo 😭🫂❤️
The part where the bee warms the inside of the daffodil reminds me of a scene from Fantasia.
I watched a video where it showed bumblebees sleeping in flowers. So beautiful. Yes the flowers are shelter and the flowers are warm. Amazing.
Those are the only bees I don’t run from. They will hover eye to eye and have staring contests with you
Bumbly bees are the very most adorable! Auuuu such little darlings. Bz bz bzz!
It’s been a long week. I just decided I want to watch a bumblebee!
🌸 🐝
I like these narrators. Very gentle to one's ears.
That's David Attenborough
I need muscles like this so I can burn fat to stay warm in the winter
😂😂
David Attenborough could be talking about paint drying on a house and i would still watch.
Same here.
That dramatic sounds when the Queen takes off
I know....I want that same sound when I'm getting out of bed :)
I love bumble bees. I enjoy watching them do their thing.
Bumblebees are cute and beautiful
those tiny and vulnerable wings can make the bumblebee flies
🏵️🌹🐝🌺🌻
Yeah. Amazing. She is so heavy!
My, my, what beautiful ladies!
such beautiful music
They're so fluffy!!!
It’s amazing how chubby they are and can still fly
comments under bee videos: gorgeous, beautiful, outstanding. nature truly is magical
comments under wasp videos: i have never wanted a bottle if raid so badly. someone please set the nest on fire
I’m always effortlessly enticed by attenborough , every single time.......
Early blooming Daffodils clear up any semblance of seasonal depression I may have had.
Since i was a child i always was made happy at the first sight of a blooming patch
It's been a long winter. Enjoy the spring/summer.
My favorite insect ,, you can stroke them and let them walk on your hand ,they are so gentle.
She's so strong and so smart I love her
When you think about what insects do to their bodies, it’s no wonder they have short lifespans. Generating 30 degrees in minutes is freaking incredible and so taxing and just using up that life force. Life is amazing
Hard not to marvel at nature and the beautiful way it's captured by the BBC Natural History Unit.
I saw a Queen Bumble Bee some time ago, in my garden!
Tiny TeacupZ I too saw a queen bumble bee and it sat on my father's shoulder. It was the BIGGEST bumble bee I have ever seen.
I saw a big one it was so big I thought it was a Asian giant hornet it was so big
I saw one a few days ago- I screamed and I opened my front door waiting for it to go outside, they are such cute bees
Pink Lady it’s just chilling on his shoulder
I was watching them pollinate
You are right! for example Wasps polinate Berberry bushes. Some crops can only be buzz pollinated like Bilberry,High Bush Blue Berry,Tomatoes and Potatoes if you want real potato seed, snap dragons, only Bumbles can open them. Honey bees and flies are good for apples etc, Butterflies and Humming are good for many showy flowers. I will say Bumbles and Honey Bees are top class for plums and cherries for pollination.
You can pet bumblebees
@@voidremoved oh
You can technically give them a high five but it has to be a certain condition but sorry for your loss sir

Bruh stop.
I pet them too. They're not aggressive.

She's so cute. 🐝
So essential to man.... And extra beautiful to watch 😍

I once helped a bee who decided to land on one of my friends shoes...she stayed on my finger for a while and didn't sting me
Not all honeybees can sting, even some females can't depending on the type
Finger or figer please explain
Honestly my partner found one dying in the sun, we fetched some sugar water and it sat there drinking it for 5 mins, then I swear it saluted us before flying off...... such manners and a very satisfying day that was
They like to sting me for some odd reason.
Which is funny because I can't feel a thing from it, but the inflammation is overkill.
Used to fish them out of a great lake I was swimming in. Didn't sting me either.
All this warmness is making me warm now
Bumblebees are the only insects in the world that reach a high cuteness level :D
bassmajor There are Honey bees and Butterfly's c:
Mantis for me are high on the list.
I know they're not insects but I find jumping spiders to be adorable.
@@SA-121 or just most moths in general.
wow, bumblebee looks like a super heavy helicopter taking off

They are so cute and fluffy 🥺
There's something so enchanting and erudite about Attenborough's delivery. Many speakers use bombastic lingo, others are melodramatic, and others downplay the entire essence of nature with their nonchalant slang hem-tailored for a dumbed-down bovine audience. Attenborough bequeaths a galaxy of knowledge and maintains a dignified mystique that inspires a distinct and awe-inspiring wonder, curiosity, and learning for all ages and generations.
Every one of Attenborough's documentaries is a gem.
Bumblebees are so cute
I remember as a child in my grandma's yard i picked up a bumblebee and ran inside to show her, it was not until my grandmother proceeded to freak out that it stung me in the tip of my finger xD
Was a wonderful day of exploration and learning.
She's so fat and adorable, lol. I love these little fluffy butterballs.
Nice bumble bee! ☺ So cute the bee is!

You would not believe your eyes, when these bees look like fireflies
In France they are called "Bourdons" 😊
im sorry i just love the dramatic music at 1:27 as she lifts herself off slow-mo style
All Bees are extremely Important to our Planet. 🇬🇧🌍🐝💕☮️
Every Spring time, please don't get rid of wild flowers in your garden for the first few weeks. The pollinating insects like bees, seriously need them, and all crop farmers need pollinaters. 🌍💕🐝🌼
bumble bees are cute. i just saw one on the road but im not sure if it was a queen.
IMO the most peaceful beautiful bee, great to have around growing up
That was magical.
the mechanics of natural flight are fascinating
I love them, so cute! My favorite insect
We have a family of bumble bees in hour garden for years
My father scolded us for bothering them
😔 I just found one Bumble bee 🐝 queen 2 days ago she was on the ground full of bugs on her fur I took her and clean her up and took her home with me give her honey and water after an hour she was getting ok. I made her a lill box bed for the night and the next morning she was so strong I went to work and when I come back home she was dead 😞 I felt so sad to see her dead after all the work we had, me to clean the bugs out of her and she to allowed me to clean her. I named her Biena because In German bee is called Biene. I was surprised to meet her at most end of this winter it was a very cold day that’s why I found out she’s a queen. Rest in piece 🐝 my lill Biena. 😔
I love beesss had the privilige to meet the honeybee and bumblebee up close and they were not far apart. 😁 plant flowers people :)
Why would you thumbs down this video?
