The guy was a legend. Really made The Stranglers that but more distinctive.
I often thought that "Dragging Me Down" by the Inspiral Carpets had a bit of a Dave Greenfield sound to it.

@@bea7972 which part you playing? If its piano, same, im layering a Harpsichord and Fingered Guitar sounds for the effect
@@lybon6972 I'm playing violin. I put the vocals and some background stuff in it, like you can hear some keyboard notes in the song and it doesn't sound the same without them so I put them as pizzicato what is plucking the strings instead of using a bow and it sounds way better than without it

i made this 3 years ago in HQ. i dont add lyrics. . what a song. the lack of verses alot of loops thats what helped me do it since it repeated the same thing quite alot. i got this almost bang on to the studio version. did you make this? i made mine on audacity. youre the second person to release a track that doesnt officially exist.
