Remember, then incoming D.A. George Gascón explicitly stated he would NEVER bring charges for crimes of trespassing and vandalism, along with a connected burglary that inevitably goes along with it, effectively decriminalizing those offenses (along with many others). And he most certainly has kept his promise. Serial criminals are very aware of these policies and act accordingly. Voters failed to recall him, TWICE! Carry on!

You can't keep blaming Caltrans for what the thieves do. It's impossible to catch up. The thieves will break open the covers, usually between two points, cut the wires, then yank it all out to sell it. Recycling and salvage centers are also to blame. When homeless dudes come in every so often with a ton of wire, they buy it. Where do they think they got it from? It's a nationwide problem. Payment for scrap should be delayed a month, where the sellers need to provide ID where everything is recorded in a federal database.

The absence of illuminated freeway lights is truly disheartening. Why is this the case? Let's cease the constant justifications blaming homelessness it's not! The solution is rather straightforward, new leadership! It's time for a much-needed change! The individuals occupying the same positions continuously yield the same lackluster outcomes-absolutely nothing! We must remove the ineffective MM2 and his associates. Serial number the wires, Require ID for sellings, setup surveillance cameras with night vision on the access boxes triggered by movement; More secure access panels.
    And prosecute criminals

I use GPS navigation and my memory as some signs especially Exit Only signs not accurate. The only bad things about the Freeway GPS are on raining day. I see lot freeway signs make people drive like a manic trying to exit or change to take that route since there wasn't not much early warning signs for them. That why driving in freeway I have to watch out for those that don't know where they going as they either tend to drive slow or upset.
