Thanks for all your support!
I love how so many of the books you share are so unique. I feel like so many videos on the internet are copies of each other and you always have fresh and new content with a unique style. Here for it 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽❤️
thank youso much ashley!!
The shirt game has been STRONG these past few videos!
Super excited to hear your thoughts on Sir Callie and the Champions of Helston once you get around to it!! It ended up being my favourite read in April --- everything I personally want when I read a MG fantasy.
1. I love your shirt 2. Your editing style and personality makes me laugh every video and I just love it. You always put me in a good mood! 3. I always get new and interesting reads from your videos to add to my tbr - always ones that might be out of my comfort zone but I end up loving them! Thank you for your videos!! ❤
🖤🖤🖤🖤
I loved The Sunbearer Trials so much more than Cemetery Boys, very strong Percy Jackson vibes.
Lost in the never woods is from Aiden Thomas. It's a peter pan remake. It was a little slow, but once it got to the last like 3 chapters, i was sucked in! Wendy can't remember what happened to her and her brothers years ago. Peter comes to visit and now she must remember whats going on There's a sliver of romance and a little dark. I think you would really like it!
Ooh I also received when among crows as well and I am looking forward to reading the novella as well. Four was so good, I agree! I have been meaning to try Jane Hur for a long time as well :3 Enjoy your new books :)
The Baker and the Bard sounds like such a fun cozy fall read! Can't wait to hear your thoughts on it!
Your shirt is so adorable 🦋🦋
I just finished reading "Murder Your Employer." No spoilers, but it was such a fun read, and nothing you're expecting! It definitely felt like it would be right up your alley, Jesse!
Yessss The sunbearer trials has a wonderful cast of characters! Hope you enjoy it!
amazing! so excited for it!
Also i believe the second book is set to come out in September
best editing of any book tuber by far
🥺🫶
I’m currently reading uprooted by Naomi novik, pretty good so far 😊
I love your shirt omg it so pretty, love the butterfly
ty!!
Your shirt is gorgeous, Jessie!🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋
The Baker and the Bard looks so cute and cozy! You may have just influenced me to break my book buying ban 🫢
Incredible book haul!! I’m actually reading my first Robbie Couch book right now and loving it! Also, Cemetery Boys is on my TBR for this month :)
I love your shirt! Butterflies are always a win >>>>
I read When Among Crows and really loved it! Veronica Roth can pack quite a bit of world building in a novella. I think it's way underrated on goodreads.
The ogress and the orphans sounds so cute ❤ crane among wolves sounds super cool ❤
no this is a great threat to my book buying ban 😭
Go to the library! (If you have access to a decent one)
Stop these books sound so good!
when among crows is so good! i read it last month and it was surprisingly wonderful (and queer)!
i'm super excited for itttt!
I hope you’ll read The Ogress And The Orphans soon! I’m really interested in your review, because I haven’t heard anyone talk about it. I binged everything by Kelly Barnhill after reading The Girl Who Drank The Moon, and this too is so cute🥹
we love you Jesse you're the best
🖤🖤🖤
I also added Sir Callie And The Champions Of Helston in my Goodreads want to read list. I think it is a middle grade book that I will devour.
BOOK HAUL WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Excited for A Magical Girl Retires! Just put it on hold at the libary!
The Ogress And The Orphans is so good! Just wait till you get the reveal!!!
Great book haul 📚🥤
If anyone is looking for more sad, I just finished Something Wild & Wonderful by Anita Kelly which had me ugly crying for roughly 75% of the book. That might be a me and my own trauma thing but it's beautiful regardless.
So happy to find someone else who loves Cemetary Boys! "The Sunbearer Trials" isn't quite up to that level, but the characters ARE really good. And never fear when you finish, I believe the sequel ("Celestial Monsters") comes out in September :) Also, "A Magical Girl Retires" is kind of a....satire?....about what life can be like for a young woman in Korea. I highly recommend reading the Translator's Note at the end, because does explain a few things about the book. It wasn't quite what I was expecting, but I still enjoyed it!
Ah, "le farfalle" 🦋🦋🦋 on your shirt makes it so adorable, so that I just have to use the word for butterflies from the most beautiful language of the world, italian. It just sounds 🎤as great as the shirt is. 😃
Very unique book recommendations, think I will give The Ogress And The Orphan a try. Love your video, as always. Thanks a lot. 🤩
I pre-ordered magical girl retires based on the title. I didn't see the cover til I got it. I want it framed. It is so gorgeous!!!
I HAVE to be on a book buying ban, I have no room💀 but so many of these these sound so good
i. love. it. can’t wait to dive in!
Just listened to a middle grade book from Libby it was recommended by Krista from Books and Jams, Orbiting Jupiter by Gary D Schmidt and my heart will never be the same 😢
I am so ashamed of myself😔 I had no idea Veronica Roth had a new book out. I’m supposed to be a fan!😫 I’m going to order it ASAP!
Jesse, I love ur content! I also just got Veronca Roth new book from my library and didn’t realized it was a novella I thought it was full length novel! I can’t wait to read that one still.
I think u should read the sunbearer trials first because it’s a mixed between Percy Jackson and hunger games! I think u would really love it, and book 2 comes out in October! Happy reading
Love your shirt
Jesse you have to read the Red Palace by June Hur!! You inspired me to pick it up and it absolutely blew me away please please please please read it!! I promise you won't regret it!
Sir Callie sounds so fun 🥹
right? looking forward to it.
Only one I've read is Mislaid in Parts Half-Known.
Not my favorite book in the series, but definitely not my least favorite.
If you feel the need for a refresher before reading it, you'll probably be okay just rereading the previous two.
shooketh by the shirt. whats 4 +4??!?!?!?
ATE 😂
LOL. thank youuuu!
Sometimes I think about having a book buying ban…
I feel like you'd really like "Everyone in My Family has Killed Someone" by Benjamin Stevenson.
It follows Ernest Cunningham a man who has a family like the title says tend to kill people. Ernest is actually the reason his brother went to jail for murder.
Ernest has been estranged from his family since but now his brother is getting out of jail so his family is having a reunion up at this mountain resort.
While they are up there a dead body appears..
It's a really interesting murder mystery because he does actually tell you everything you need to solve the mystery. It's very Knives Out the movie vibes!
ooooh! I’m intrigued.
@@jessethereader It's got a second book out too called "Everyone on this Train is a Suspect" which is also really really good and he's coming out with a Christmas one this year too!
Put all the titles on a piece of paper put them in a mug and just pull one out random
Not to sound stupid, but what's with this obsession with dragons and dinosaurs?😢😢😢😢😢
Dragons and dinos are great 🦖🦕🐉
I'm with you there. Never understood the hype for reptiles, real or fictional 😅
