I feel the same way about Atlas Six. I quickly DNF'D it because i felt like the characters were just unlikeable in so many ways from the start, and i knew it wasn't probably going to improve.
Love it!! A pro tip - thinner paper is easier to wrap with :) I don’t think anyone can wrap well with thick paper like that. They came out amazing and some people will have been super thrilled to find your books! ❤

This is so cute!! I always get excited to see a blind-date book in stores but never thought of this for giving my excess books away, too!! Would be a super fun thing to do w bookish friends too.
For short story collection recs, I recently read Edogawa Ranpo's "Japanese Tales of Mystery and Imagination" and was really impressed with all of them! The stories are mostly thriller/unnerving vibes imo, and a few literally made me gasp out loud since they were surprising and ick (in the best way)!!
This is such a creative and beautiful way of sharing books with others! My church has a little lending library, and I will definitely be dropping off some blind date books. 👀

My local library does Blind Date with a Book every February. The books are wrapped in Valentine's Day paper and come with a "Rate Your Date" questionnaire that you turn in to be entered into a prize drawing at the end of the month. I love the idea but I'm such a picky mood reader that it's a 50/50 shot if I'm going to get past the first chapter. 😅
Your books ended up looking so cute! This makes me want to see a video where you get some of the "blind date with a book" options from bookstores and guess what's inside based on the package descriptions.

Love going to little free libraries to donate all my unhauled books. They're such fun creative designs as well.
I have 2 non fiction books I've been working my through for half of March (both are nearly finished), a new graphic novel that just came in the mail, and a YA romance that I'm half way through.
I'm confident I can finish them all this weekend. I'm planning on reading and spending as much time as possible recouperating from my extremely difficult work week.
I love this idea! I don't know of any little free libraries near me, but I do sell at farmer's markets (one of which is right next to a library). I might try setting some of these on my table for people to take!

This is a super fun idea! I'd love to do something like this when I next unhaul books. I'm currently trying to read The Will of the Many by James Islington or Theft of Swords by Michael J. Sullivan while I'm waiting for my copy of The Tainted Cup by Robert Jackson Bennett (which I loved but had to return to the library).
I would be THRILLED to get one of those blind dates with a book. They’re beautiful!

hi jesseee love the video!! i’d definitely recommend to shape a dragon’s breath by moniquill blackgoose or when women were dragons by kelly barnhill as some great books that have dragons!! hoping that if u do read them they’ll overshadow fourth wing as the book you think of when u think of dragons hehe

Ah this was such a fun one! Recently got a blind book and got Mildred the crazy cat lady which basically sums me up hah.... As i am doing uni work atm i havent beem able to read much but I am currently making my way through sunbringer and i absolutely love it so far, dare i say it but its kust a vibe haha

We do! I think if you go on the little free library website they have maps of the 'officially registered' ones. Definitely not as popular in the uk though 😭
