Please remember to like and subscribe, it really helps small individuals like me and keep me motivated to make more content in the future.
Yeah man. Awesome video! 👍🏻
Thanks for helping us out!
This is why I LOVE CZcams! There is nothing on CZcams that you can't find how to do. Thanks!
Too bad this video sucks. Use a charcoal chimney.
Put foil on it tho we black
We usually just throw aluminum foil on the grill and poke holes to lets the fire come through
Is this a fever dream?
Good for you getting out and grilling on a public grill. Its one of my favorite things to do. Here's a tip, you can just throw the match light charcoal bag into the grill and light the bag. That way you don't have trash and you keep your hands clean. Looking pro with the gloves. Thats a pro move.
Match light..🤭😒🤢🤮
they're meant to be seasoned. drop the grill closer into the fire, constantly coat with crisco. you get a nice shiny luster to the cast iron grate and it will leave epic grill marks on steaks.
I think him rubbing the mayonnaise, that had a flavoring to it, accomplishes the seasoning and coating with crisco concept you’re talking about? Both have fat? I was wondering why he did that, but looks like rubbing sausage in fat is a thing. I’ll have to try.
Thanks! At the park and trying to figure this grill out. lol Big help!
Thanks for the tutortal. I've never used a park grill, but always wanted to. It looks easy to use so I'll have to give it a try. Good luck with your channel.
please clean the rust off and oil the grill before throwing down the food
man this vid was a lifesaver you’re a legend bro
Thank you for taking the time to do this. 👌
I'm old school. I get the charcoal hotter than hell itself, lower the grate down to fire level for about 5-10 minutes and let whatever was on there turn to ash, raise it up and cook.
I've had once or twice where I forgot the stupid charcoal, spent 20 minutes gathering up twigs, dried branches, threw it in there with paper, lighter fluid and it worked great for thick chicken breasts.
This video is for morons this guy is straight up a wimp
Thank you for the tutorial it helped from using notebook paper to charcoal and how it's used
“Yep, I rubbed it all over the sausage”
I can’t breathe
:) you're welcome
George Floyds last words 😭
Thanks for the great informative message
No problem man, just tryna help some people who wanna use a public BBQ grill
I've never used a public grill, thank you for the video tips! If you were sick, i hope you got better ☆ very interesting voice- that's a compliment! You sound like a cartoon
I'm from PA, good look on the Yuengling! We use our park grills all the time, but we always cover them in tinfoil...we just can't get them clean enough..way too rusty...
Good stuff. Tip. You can lift the front of the grate and stand it straight up against the back of the fire box. So you can put the coals how you like easier
0:23 not on this grill
I have this exact grill at my complex, they're unfortunately fixed. I prefer the one's you can lift out on one end, so much easier to load with charcoal
@@johnd5398you 100% can. It’s literally made for it with the detents by the handle.
Very informative! Looks delicious
Super helpful! Thank you!
Thank u dearly!!! now I know how to use this gril! I am goin to make smores now!
Park grilling. There you go!
Thank you.. Will be trying this
Great tutorial I will be giving this a go soon
Thank you for making this video.
Thank you I’m going to buy sausage and make on grill now😻
This is awesome. I searched google on cooking with camp grill and your the first. I like your profile pic.
The nostalgia for the bbq park smell is real
Worked for me, just threw som sticks in and watched the flames 🔥
Very helpful, thanks!!
Thanks buddy!
Glad it wasn't smell-a-vision...that smoke and sizzling pork must smell mouth-watering . Keep grilling my friend. Ontario Canada .
Thanks my guy, maybe one day I will make a new video!
Thanks!
Really....such a important content.
Yuengling beer brats!!!! What! I gotta find those. Brats and My favorite beer!
I love CZcams for this reason we have one at my apartment complex and I had no idea how to use it at all
niice video bro, really helpful
THANKU SO MUCH!!🙏🏾
I didn’t know if anyone used one. They sell really cheap small bbq pits for less than 20 dollars
I bought this as my first propane grill. It's been a fun, learning experience czcams.com/users/postUgkxCx5fHawkK9OoV-ojFrY8JLnZrFwAmvUt . I think it's a bit too pricey after looking at other grills, but it wasn't hard to put together and it works really well. I love the side burner option for heating food during a power outage. I have an electric stove and live in the South (Hurricane season), so this was a bonus. I also bought a cover for it and it has protected it nicely (the Char Broil All-Season Grill Cover 3-4 Burner: Large). Every few grill sessions, I take the rack (or grate) and burner covers off and clean them with a non-abrasive scrubby and mild soap. I wipe the excess off of the bottom as well, taking care to avoid the gas and pilot lines.
useful thanks!
The other suggestions in the comments were helpful too.
mmmm TY 4 Sharin 4 lil sis right here soooo heLpful.. im think of goin 2 BBQ @the paRk rn lol the only thinG is idk how😂😂BUT THANKS TO YOUU I FEEL MORE CONFIDENT 😂 THX AGAIN ❤❤❤
haha wow Grape, wasn't expecting your video to appear at the top when searching how to use a public grill. this is inkh btw :3
Omg inkh!
I’m at a park right now sitting next to one of those. It’s about time I learn how they’re suppose to be used so I found this video. I never thought you can just slap the meat on to the grill raw like that since who knows how others have used it.
As far as I'm concerned I like to use foil with pkedholes in it on top of the grill to put the meat on before I cook;
Watching CZcams at the park 😂😰 what is this world coming to
@@siranul Well I went on CZcams to specifically search up how to use that thing since I was right in front of one. Just like when you encounter a Pokémon that you don’t know much about, you get your Pokédex out right there and then, and aim it towards it to learn more about it.
Just like when you bout to run up on someone but you check your scouter first to make sure they power level ain’t messin’ with you
@@timcantu9105 Exactly.
Thanks for your take on this. I only know a few cooks who use Mayo to fry with and it’s nice to see someone doing it. Dukes is really the best for that, but it’s kind of a southern brand. You can find it online, though. There’s a few better ways of cleaning the grill. Rubbing half an onion or lemon on a hot grill will kill the bacteria. I like to use Rock salt in a natural scoring pad as it’s great at removing rust and then rub with a half onion.
Get or make a coal rake, it’s important to spread the coals evenly. Also use an oil brush or sauce mop to continuously spread the Mayo on as it cooks. I hope you make another video using the tips the peanut gallery spewed at you.
Can't imagine what the mayo was for? Especially since it was good it dripped off
Nice video, squid!
😋 yum
Hell yeahhh
how to use a outside grill at a park, using sticks and in the wind?
A couple suggestions:
1. Avoid the match light, it may give your food a nasty lighter fluid taste. I recommend B&B charcoal briquettes.
2. Invest in a charcoal chimney starter, good way to make sure your coals are hot and ready for cooking .
Chimneys are great but loading one of these fixed grills with hot charcoal from a chimney can be challenging, I think I'll use a small metal shovel or something next time.
Fire starter cubes are great as well for this grill type
Ithink the grill could used more cleaning like I would spray it with all purpose degreaser then scrub it after that use a wet cloth to rinse it out and get it as clean as possible

Damn Mclovin McMuffin lover 🍑
Idk have Yengling brats!
Imma look for them!!
crazy bro
Please keep doing content stay true to you sir grape
I have a quick question aren’t you supposed to clean all the ash out before you put in the coals or it doesn’t matter??
depending on how much ash. too much leftover ash will suffocate the new charcoal. but in this video there was very minimal so it’s not worth the potential mess. but in other cases yes! definitely clean the bottom if it’s full of ash.
Use a cheap 3" paint brush for best results doing that. Then just rinse it off in water and use it for a BBQ brush.
Im using tinfoil. No way Im putting food on that nasty bbq.
Right it looks still rusty
It's just rust, which is non-toxic in small amounts. If you clean the grate with an onion and a grill brush, hard, then you will have removed enough of the rust to where it would be completely safe to have all kinds of food on there. Only other 2 concerns are if people are burning plastics, scraps, or metals on the grill, and if anything they spray on the lawns gets onto the grill. Both of these are highly unlikely, but even then, taking a metal scraper and cleaning out where the charcoal sits, as well as cleaning the grates themselves would remove enough of anything toxic. Make sure to clean the grates again when they've heated up, just before you put the food on them. I guess if you're really that worried about the grates, you can take a piece of cheese cloth, coat it in vinegar and water, and rub the hell out of the grates. Just use common sense. If this is a park where teenagers go at night to smoke, or where homeless people sleep, someone is burning something in those grates that's not food lol, so maybe avoid using those grills to cook. If you're at a national park or state park, wildlife refuge, or the like, then it's 99% you have nothing to worry about.
thank you lol, I'm the same
@@santiagorivera1562 "it's just rust" exactly, ever hear of tetanus? dumb ..no rust should be in your food...period, that's disgusting you'd try to justify it by trying to be a know it all...I pray for your family

Alright mclovin on the grill with the glizzys
This video came in handy because I didn't know how to get a grill like this started 😩tfs😊God bless in Jesus name
The rust on these things always scares me
fr. bro rubbed it with a 99 cent brush and said "its nice and clean" while still being able to see the prior rust build up. makes no sense.
I saw a homeless man dropping a giant deuce on one of these once and ever since then I just bring my own grill.
see if u can get a good sear on some steaks next
Haha next year I'll have to
Yuengling partnered with Coors last year to begin distribution in the west, now my favorite beer is finally coming to my least favorite state! 🍻
Haha, we in Michigan are going to get it soon!
@@GrapeCollie lucky you, I haven't had one since my tour ended in Virginia! Drink a couple extra for me bro lol
@@Squatch-sj3vg haha, it's gonna take its sweet time to get here, but I guess it's being distributed in Texas now
WHERE IS THAT PLACE??
where do you live? im from PA and yuengling is a staple here
Michigan, it doesn't distribute here
Grape I was just going to ask if that brand was better than Jonhsonville because I never heard of them but I now know why, I live in MICHIGAN too 😂 love to try them though. How’d you get yours
Grape if you ever want me to mail you a case let me know! I’ll buy the beer you pay for the shipping.
@@Rogue16Assassin haha nah, if I wanted I could drop down to Ohio to find it, but I hear they might distribute to Michigan at some point
"Yup. I rubbed it aaallll over the sausage" lol
3:59 Cross contaminated your jar of mayonaise right there.
What if there is like a birds nest, or hornets nest in there? I have seen some dirty ones with branches stuck inside, and bird poo poo all over. How do you clean those? All the public grills I seen are always gross.
Using the same method, the heat steralizes the grill
@@GrapeCollie but dang its still gross. Heat can sterilize a toilet too, but people wont eat off that. ewwww
Clean what you can & cover the top of the grate with foil, then ventilate the foil.
@@MbisonBalrog Well I guess you need to just work a little harder on yours? 🤷
Start a wood fire in it. Then add charcoal. Simple.
we jut put foil on it lmao
Thats what I would do.
what kind of camera? nice footage
Canon 80D
Dude, the charcoal is not supposed to be burning flames🔥 when you’re cooking. That’s how you burn your foods and it comes out uneven. The flames go away and then it’s just the heat from the charcoal is what cooks the foods.
I know, I used just the heat from the charcoal
@@GrapeCollie ok but in the video, there is fire flames burning your Mayo dogs 😔
@@oB_Session nah man, they were perfectly cooked
Mclovin come back
You can control that by using what we call a concoction here in the dirty. Mix a little oil with your favorite spices and water, then spoon it on the meat. It'll drip down and tame the flame. Not too much though. It's an advanced technique. Too much will cause a bad flavor instead of a good one. Also depends on what you're cooking. I'll cook a Boston butt on one of those grills lol. Set there all day and get shit faced lol.
Do you need permission to bbq at the park?
As far as I could read on the A2 parks and rec, bo, but for bigger parties there is a permit. Then again, I have also used the smaller BBQ grill off to the side.
Did mclovin make this video?
But where do you put the red stapler?
What did you do with the charcoal when you were done? Does it just turn to ash?
I left it in the grill, but in general you should clean it out when it's spent
No one is going to mention the rust on the grill 😅
Wait we’re is the foil my brother u rawdogged ur food on a public park grill😮😮😮😮
You don't need foil XD
Got one in my park. But everyone just brings a gas grill and nobody uses charcoal anymore. But you're bringing it back bitch
oh wow! thats scary to
eat them knowing it has alot of rust on that filthy grill 😔🥴
Don't go to a restaurant ever again then lol, you couldn't handle the secrets!
What u expect in nature 😊 my friend…be natural when u r in midst of nature… the rust will not make u sick it’s the instinct can make u sick…enjoy
Still starting fires, Milton?
U kno it
How I remember. Back in the day when we would BBQ in parks and rest areas 🙃 beautiful memories .. now we bbq outside our back yard , and hubby has his CZcams channel .. czcams.com/users/AlLunacyQing

mmm bird shirt bbq grill grates
Bird shirt
Thanks bud. I searched Google for this. Lol
It must be me but I do extra cleaning on the grill animals be on it birds shit so I do more than scrubbing the grill and putting my meat on it
Thank God for furries.
You don't use aluminum
forf of july
Man a glizzy masseuse ain’t it
You were scared to touch the raw meat, but your meat is touching the bare grill lol, Hope youre doing and feeling okay buddy
Mate, the grill was perfectly clean and the heat sanatizes the grates
@@GrapeCollie Shit don't look clean at all
@@AM.173 it looks fine stop being overdramatic
I dont want to touch the raw meat ew lol. I cook all you have to do is bring sanitizing wipes it will be okay lol.
Lol
Maybe you can bring a container of water and hand soap
I can’t handle raw meat either! I wear gloves too!!!!
Do people not understand the temperature a grill gets to? Using foil to grill because they are afraid of what?…nothing survives that heat
To take your gloves off you can pinch the wrist part and pull it off, then with the inside of that glove do the same for the other. Easy way to get ‘em off without getting anything on your hands
Use the bag to start the fire bruh.
Not gonna lie, this was my first time using a charcoal grill so the thought didn't go through my mind. But, maybe If I made video on how to grill steaks???
I’m just worried there might be some shit on there someone put
That's the point of using the steel wool pad on it, any bacteria would burn off so you wouldn't really get e-coli if somehomeless guy shat on the bbq grill
@@GrapeCollie That's exactly what I was worried about lmao
@@AgentChodeyBanks it gets too hot for bacteria to be on the food
YESSSSSSS THE SIMPLICITY!!!! I now understand 👍🫡
Great video,, but why the squeamishness about raw meat?
Not really a fan of getting food poisoning
@@GrapeCollie wash your hands? baby wipes in this case?
Ew...mayo on the meat?! Never saw that before. They look good after cooking, though!
