Try corn starch and baking soda with no spice. They will crisp up nice. Then toss them in a light sauce before serving.

  • @fusemunk

Less wings will get them crispy.

  • @keithsmith3118

Looks great. If you want to add a bit of crispiness, besides making sure that you pat the wings extra dry, add some baking powder to the mix and toss. It works best tossed naked, but still works when tossed altogether.

  • @jimmyjimmyeegalok

For crispy wings, the wings need to be as dry as possible. Use baking powder (else you can use baking soda), and skip the oil. Also, put the wings exposed in the fridge for a hour so that the wing can resorb any liquid that will be drawn out when the rub/seasoning is added.

  • @davemanley8700

I just finished devowering them but I had to fight my wife for them. I just wish the grill was a little bit bigger and next time not so much smoke otherwise they were a 10

  • @donnaparisi3535

Can you use this recipe in the Ninja Woodfire "Oven"? Do I have to adjust to make any adjustments to the oven settings because I am using the oven instead of the grill? I've been looking at your great recipes for the grill and have been wondering about the difference in settings since I have the oven not the grill.

  • @papadave6800

This may seem like a dumb question, CJ, but after 10 minutes, when you turn the chicken wings at the halfway point, is there a way to pause the timer, while you are turning the wings, so that you get the full 20 minutes of closed lid cooking time?

  • @karenjohnson8415

I followed this recipe, but after the wings were done, I slathered on a bit of sauce and let them grill for a few minutes. Excellent!

  • @beachfoxlife

Made some a few days ago on my Ninja Woodfire Grill. Was the best wings ever. Smoked with oak pellets, air crisp 390 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Yum!

  • @richchris83

    Rice flour.

  • @thisguy2329

Thank so much for continuing to put out these videos! was pretty lost when it came to cooking on my Ninjawoodfire, but your videos helped me figure it out. I love that you test out various recipes on it. Those wings look great. Keep it up!

  • @jonohan491

Thank you for all your recipes on this grill. Because of you, I went out and purchased one. My first attempt was these wings. The process was exactly as you demonstrated. Through experience, I never use the BBQ rubs. I find less is more and usually go with simple salt and pepper. The way I made these:

  • @risasklutteredkitchen1293

I do smoked wings at the same temp and time. They come out perfectly but I do them on the grill pan, not the air crisper basket. We love them. So good.

  • @VK-zt6sw

This is awesome - thank you!

  • @TJ-pc3mx

That looks super good. Your the best.

  • @jacquelinemassinello3451

Love wings !!! Looks delish !!

  • @shannamcneill8468

Hey morning CJ! Love my woodfire!

  • @2Wheels_NYC

They look great! I was going to say about the salt brine right about 30 seconds before you did! It really does help crisp them up. Excellent as always CJ!

  • @earlbinder67

Love some wings! Those look delicious!!

  • @gharv1313

Perfect for the game CJ! Looks fantastic have to try out your method. Cheers brother 🍻
