Hi Becky! Not sure if someone below has already addressed the cutting booboo you made on your top. I've made the same silly mistake myself. To repair it, I place a piece of fusible interfacing behind it, or sometimes a double sided fusible interfacing so I can also place a piece of the same fabric on the cut. About 2x the size of the cut. Then on the right ride, I stitch with a very tiny zigzag over the perimeter of the cut. You'd be surprised how well it works. My machine also has a setting for darning, but I've never tried it. BTW, I love your hair. It suits your face beautifully.
Hi Becs, I agree about Rainbow Fabrics shop. Went Last year when in London seeing my lovely daughter. I am not an online shopper, especially not for fabric so was a bit disappointed. The two young men were lovely and I did buy some gingham but would not make that trip again. Have a day in London in Sept and off to exhibitions so May not have time for much fabric shopping. Love the vlogs xx
I love your hair-especially your fringe!! Also, I've been meaning to tell you I love the new "theme" song that plays-very jazzy-cool!! AND "Happy Birthday"!! :+) Your top and skirt set are gorgeous on you-and I think that print top looks like it would also go with those lovely trousers you made!! :+)
Love your new look, very flattering. Now for a bit of smugness. I still own and use, the very first unpicker I ever bought when I first got a sewing machine. That was 40 odd years ago and many more machines, but I still have the unpicker. First time I opened it I put the lid on the base as recommended, and have never been able to get it off since. Of course I have others as the original is no longer as sharp as it was, but i cannot bring myself to discard it either. Hope you have better luck keeping this thoughtful gift.
Loving the hair really suits you. Hope Adele is doing alright and her house sale etc is going smoothly missing her videos. Can't wait to see your sewing shed and I bet you're super excited to get in there....love my sewing room we knocked a door from our hall into the back of the garage it's great love it.
I have had a few people tell me they are missing her and I will let her know, she ok though just a busy bee. Having a space must be lovely- I am so excited for mine x
Noticed the hair straight away..looks fabulous! What a nice alternative to the traditional straight fringe. Happy for you to be getting your new sewing space 🙌🏻
Hello Becky, it’s always great seeing you. While I’m a huge fan of your hair styles, in my opinion your new ‘do is especially flattering . It was great seeing Adele, she looks wonderful. I’m looking forward to the time she’s able to film again. How wonderful you were able to spend time together. Happy belated birthday. May the path to your next be paved with good health and great happiness 💕🌺
Love your hair. So pleased you had such a lovely day with your Bestie. Miss her. But glad she is taking a break if she needs it. Love you share your fails as well as all your lovely makes.
Love your hair and makes. Hope you get your eyes sorted as I really struggle with getting this right for sewing 🤦♀️👀 Absolutely in love with that tiger fabric Adele got you. Went straight to Stitch fabrics but couldn’t find, if she got from somewhere else would appreciate knowing 🙏 Thanks 😊 hope you got some more sewing done
Hi Becky, I was sat here thinking that you look particularly gorgeous today, the haircut definitely suits you! Thank you for entertaining me over the last few weeks, I love your videos and your sewing projects, you've inspired me so much. I'm just getting back into sewing, after losing confidence and you've been a big part of that, so thank you! 🥰🥰
I love your hair. It looks beautiful. The shirt is nice also I thought it was a dress. Absolutely nothing wrong with plugging your shop! Thanks for sharing.
Love the hair Becky. Also love the skirt and top coords, they look so bright and cheerful on you. Hope you get your sewing shed finished soon, how exciting. Have a good week.
Missed you on Friday but glad to see you now. Gorgeous pictures of you and Adele. Beautiful birthday fabric too. I have just finished the Fleur- made the sleeveless dress version. I do love it but the armholes are huge and very low under the arm. I am gutted as I now have to make some extra pieces to fit in. I don’t think you will have a problem with the sleeved blouse- which I will make soon. your Esti top and Mave set looks stunning on you 😍. Can’t wait to see your haul. 😊. Happy Sewing. Lynne
Happy birthday to you. Looking forward to seeing the new sewing space and fabric haul. I’m on a no fabric purchase for a while but I love seeing other purchases.
I love your hair! Stunning! I love a poplin and would like the flower print in a blazer but understand your weather, like mine in the US might not give you what you need. Weather is so fickle 😂. Love your makes!
Oh Becky, I too spent a few days in London (from NE England) this week and popped to Rainbow Fabrics, and had the exact impression as yourself. Not taking anything away from the guys their, they were so lovely. I did manage to purchase a couple of bits of Linen, but i too expected a much larger shop. 😂
Have you considered creating a yoke for your check top, similar to the Courtney Tee by style arc? You could attach either by pattern matching or blocking with the smaller check or of course diagonally. I hope you can fix it. Xx
Put a button on the hole or an applique on the checkered top. That top and skirt is beautiful on you. This is a great make for you. The red trousers are beautiful. How is Adele? Haven't seen her for awhile. Did she sell her home?
@@whatbecsews If you talk to her tell her we are thinking about her and her family. I know her mom has dementia or Alzheimers....Prayers all is going well.
My goodness! You look young anyway, but the mew hair style has dropped about 10 or 15 years off of you. Very cute. I love it. We can see your lovely face so much better now.
HI Love your 'birthday' set but have a question... when I sew lines across the elastic, i love the look but it stretches out and then is too big. Do you have a trick or tip?
I haven’t had this before. I will usually even the gathers from the elastic by pulling until I am happy with where they sit, space pins evenly, then pull as I am sewing until the fabric is flat, I work between the pinned sections. Does that make sense? X
@@whatbecsews I understand what you are saying and appreciate it, but my waistband is enlarged and too big after I stitch those lines. I see an comment below that might help Thanks for taking time to answer :)
Loving the new hair and what a fun day with Adele!!
Awww thanks lovely x
You look stunning today!

Great vlog Becky 😊 maybe you could hand embroider a strawberry on the scout tee where you sliced a hole and make it a bit of a feature 😊
Great idea x
Your hair is gorgeous!! Thx for a great vlog
Thank you x
Love your hair

Oh that’s a shame about the Fluer, I have heard a few others say the same about the sleeveless version too.
Hopefully you can sort. Xxx

Hi Becky, what about the new downtown jacket by pattern emporium for your printed fabric

Hey - the button Calendar will be £45.00 and the Jazz and Wow will be £65.00

Hover a steamy iron over it to shrink the elastic back down
