for those who are calling him a moron: what about the guy (me) who has a Chrysler with a chime that continues to go off regardless if your seat belt is engaged. Get a life and stop worrying about other people! Thanks for the post. hope this fixes my problem
THANK YOU!!!!! I just bought a jeep that the passengers seat belt sensor is broken. Even when everyone is wearing the seat belts, the chime still goes off. I followed your directions, and it worked! Thank you, your a life saver!
well I had the problem too.. I wear my seat belt everytime I get into a car but my 2005 Chrysler Sebring convertible would still say the seat belt was off unless I stayed pushing really hard on it.. thanks for the vid it silenced my chime!!!!!
so the problem for me is that I wasn't waiting long enough to do the buckle/unbuckle thing. I waited till the light turned off, but if you wait longer like for all the dash lights to turn off and all the beeps to stop, thats what worked for me!

I know 5 people personally that died in a car wreck due to wearing their seatbelt and I have been in 3 wrecks and never wore my seatbelt and survived so your ideology is void.
