- It was great to do a whole budget friendly meal on the channel - its been a while! and it was absolutely delicious and went down very well with the family. My boys do not usually like new potatoes but not one was left on their plates. A definite keeper for another day.

Roasted Parmesan Potatoes:
1 kg/35oz New Potatoes (halved & par boiled)
2 tbsp/30g/1oz Olive oil
50g/1.7oz/1/2 Cup Parmesan (I used Parmigiano Reggiano)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried oregano or thyme (I used Thyme)
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
Creamy Garlic Chicken:
500g/3 cups/17.6oz Chicken breast or Thigh (I used filleted Thigh)
300ml Double cream
1 tsp dried Thyme
1 red (or brown) onion
1 chicken stock cube
2 garlic cloves (used my own homegrown ones)
Pop parmesan, olive oil, and dried herbs etc into the pan of drained parboiled potatoes, mix thoroughly before popping into AF basket (crisper plate out).
ROAST setting 200c/390f 20mins - stir periodically
Meanwhile, fry off onion, thyme & garlic in pan, add chicken pieces, fry off further 10ish mins before adding cream and chicken stock. Let cook til chicken pieces are temp 75c or above. Serve with the potatoes and veg side of your choice.

Omg Kerry that made me so hungry, those potatoes looked amazing, I bet your kitchen smelt lovely all those spices, and all for £1.57 per portion, a ready meal for 1 would cost more than that, and wouldn’t look so nice, or be such a flavoursome meal, with plenty of protein and carbs. I made your bara brith the other day oh wow that was so delicious with butter. Carry on making these videos they are great, thank you xx

I cooked this last night. It was very good, the potatoes were especially delicious and I shall be doing them now on a regular basis.
That's fab, we've had it again, so easy and delicious. Am going to add it to my regular, albeit every 2/3 weeks regular due to the cream! 😋😋😋😋
Hi Kerry, it looks delicious, and a bargain price to make. I've been making John garlic creamed mushrooms which he really likes. The pressure cooker does get really hot on sear, i always use the lower setting

That looks so tasty Kerry I love new potatoes,we used to love it when the Ayrshire Tatties went on sale,your chicken dish reminds me of years ago when you had a buffet and one of the favourite foods were voulevant cases with different fillings and the little lid sat on the top and I loved the ones with chicken supreme in them,even better when I made them myself and you had the chefs perks when you got to eat any chicken supreme that was still in the tin after you had filled the cases 😋 another enjoyable mouth watering video flower Xx

Yum. Wish I had a pressure cooker but my kitchen is too small.😊
For me my pressure cooker/s is/are an essential piece of kitchen equipment. I'm 74 and never been without one. My mother always had one. Even took it camping to Cornwall every year when we were children. We didn't have a car just a motorbike and sidecar, my sister and I in the sidecar, but space was always found for the pressure cooker, it was essential. I use mine every day, I've never ever boiled potatoes on the stove, always use my pressure cooker. How'd you make a stew, a curry, a chilli, a bolognaise, a cottage pie without one? Get one and it will change your life.
I use my slow cooker a lot. I haven't got room for a pressure cooker as well.

Thigh fillets far tastier than breast which has almost no flavour and dries out😊
