I cant say I crave a lot of these foods. They have so many unknown sauces, and weird ingredients i.e corn, cabbage that im just no sure about. BUT, I would give them a try if i was there and they are nice to look at behind the scenes

Why is nothing in Korean called a burger, ever anything resembling an actual burger? I've pretty much established that burger means egg sandwich to koreans.
@boboverlord18 I think he means there is no patty thus it's not a burger, which isn't how it works but oh well.
@@jjspooky5332 but it is how it actually works, technically a "hamburger" is the patty itself, no cheese, sauce or bun required to be labeled as a burger, but you do need a patty of chopped or ground meat, that's it.
In saying that, i would personally consider a burger as anything with meat, cheese and a bun.

@@jjspooky5332 Don't get all technical, you know exactly what the guy meant... What's in the video is called, at most, a pulled beef burger, but I don't think that's even pulled beef. There is no burger in it. It's just a round sandwich.
In fact, the bread they used is called English Muffins, which is a weird choice for a burger, but would make sense for a "pulled beef" sort of sandwich.
The main point, really, is that they can't call it a burger and then serve this. People are expecting a beef patty when ordering a burger, not "pulled" beef and all that.

Blowtorch seems a bit gimmicky. Feel like you are barely heating the meat through and doing it in the sheet pan like that with the rest of the cold meat means you can easily scoop some cold unrendered pieces in the process. I feel like throwing it on the flat top for a minute to sear is a easier and more effective alternative but correct me if I’m wrong.
That meat was already cooked and warm but it wasn't hot.
Yep those blowtorch are for show, they don't really get the job done. I remember one guy trying to melt a shit ton of cheese on a large clamshell using a blowtorch, it took him forever lol. It's become something of an annoying trend in Korean streetfood.

He then cooks fried rice on a regular stove top burner but because that type burner doesn't get as hot he finishes the fried rice with a blow torch to give what is called "Wok-Hei" or smoky flavor

what's the brown sauce, the green sauce and the blue sauce ?
Looks to me like ketchup, mustard and mayo. However, the mustard looked like a sweet style (like brown honey mustard), and although I haven't tried it, I know there are Asian mayos that taste different than what we have in the US. There's a cook on CZcams that only uses Japanese mayo. The stuff in this vid looked thinner, more like the consistency of dressing.
