If an alien species ever visited us 100000000 years from now when we are all dead.. i hope a copy of Sonic 06 and a working Xbox 360 is all that remains so that those aliens can experience the heartbreaking story of our blue hero
In the planning phase, SEGA knew that people would rather not see Omachao again. So, they spent the entire budget designing a new character who could give you hints. After months of hard work, Question Mark was created. So that`s why Sonic 06 is a buggy mess. Because YOU don`t appreciate Omachao.
I love how this game starts out all: "WOAH! GOOD GRAPHICS AND INTERESTING LOOKING SETTING!" and then proceeds to become the biggest load of ass you've ever played after the first cut-scene ends.
Fun fact, in sonic mania, there was a easter egg where entering the sonic 3 level select code in a specific level, caused the speed pad sound effect to sound like videogamedunkey. This was removed in a patch because of this video
The only thing that I can get some enjoyment from this game, is the glitches. Just the amount of random and funny crap you can do in this game while running or just plain walking around. The best part is, there are tons of them. But the overall fact is......this game is worse than the creation of Big the Cat.

Sonic 06 was so ahead of its time. It's an overhyped, buggy, unfinished mess of a game released before every AAA studio published overhyped, buggy, unfinished messes of games.

I only just realised how much 06 looks like a Square Enix game graphically, which I guess has come full circle with Balan WonderWorld.
I actually loved this game alot and still love it to this day
