Both singers are covering a song written by the guy from One Republic. It’s the writers song, therefore anyone else who sings it but the writer(s) is “covering” it.
I love Maren, and her voice is so amazing, but I don't like this. You'd think with how soulful her voice is, that this would be a great fit, but oddly I prefer Beyonce's version, and that's weird, since I can't stand Beyonce!!!! That being said, I'm so enjoying discovering more clips of Maren. She has quickly become my favourite new artist. She's awesome!
Claude Seymour ...You're opinion. Anytime I have ever seen Beyonce "performing" I see more dancing than singing. Her voice has never impressed me, but that's me. I do think she is very gorgeous. But I prefer Maren's voice myself.
