Your new barn is lovely. Lots of credit to both of you for the work you have put in with your new house & barn! I'm in my 40's and could only dream to have a place like that!! Bailey and Rumour seem to get along really well and it seems like a great situation for you to be leasing him. I lease my riding horse as well since I can only afford one and my main man is 29years old and mostly retired ♡♡. Looking forward to seeing more of your progress in your vlogs!

I found your channel last week and I've been binge watching! I hardly watch regular tv anymore but I have really enjoyed watching your journey including all the shopping and coffee runs ;) Rumour makes me laugh; he has the longest tongue I've ever seen on a horse (and he's much more laid back than my horse!). I do hope you make more videos although I expect it's a lot of work for you. Even if you think it's boring for us to see, I think you both have a good eye for photography and I like the way you capture life; I find it quite relaxing to watch you as you go about your day. I'm also totally jealous that you live in such a beautiful part of the world (beats flat, dusty TX!)

How many acres does a horses pasture have to be per horse? And i was wondering how you feed your horses? I know you have to have hay and oats? I was just wondering whats the best feeding schedule? So first I wanna thank you for your video because it was very informative but I have a couple questions I’ve never had horses before but I have a couple questions for you the first one is I had another animals like chickens, ducks, pigs my whole life. I have never is soaked any other food before I give it to them. why do you soak their food before you give it to them?
My second question is with them being such big animals why do you feed them in just a bucket and not in a trough like a cow trough? Thank you so much for responding I just got have never had horses and I was just wondering
Elias Padilla it is easier for horses to swallow and digest the pellets when soaked in water. Some horses need it but some do not. Just depends on the horse. Most older horses require soaked feed.
If Bailey & Rumor get along and they're both healthy, why don't you open the gate in between paddocks to give them more space & let them be together? I understand that they may miss each other once Bailey leaves, but they can already bond over the fence, so that could already be happening.
+Correct Pet Care Rumor can be kind of pushy so if they both went into one of the stalls at the same time it could be kind of dangerous
What would you do if you bought a second horse then?
Correct Pet Care they didn't buy bailey they are leasing her
You are acting like they are getting another horse, if they don't have the space they should be smart enough not to buy another horse, if Rumor is pushy and there together Bailey could get hurt, would you rather have a horse hurt or them not buying a horse?

I know why it must be like considering my mom works full time and my dad is a paramedic aka ambulance driver and he's not even full time and his shifts can get changed even when he's drives 2 hours to get to work and is already there.

Is there a reason your shavings are in a pile rather than bagged? I’ve always used bagged shavings... did you just buy a truckload for it to be cheaper?
Sydney McCabe yeah it was a lot cheaper to just get a truckload, but I do prefer the bagged shavings :P
I know its late put use pine shaving they are easier than pellets in my opitoin
My first horse is now 7 and her birthday is the same as mine and Same with my other his birthday is on dolly and mine to and he is now 13 like my 2nd horse
