Great video! This tournament is one of, if not the, greatest achievement(s) of Finland. Close to it is the 2006 Torino olympic silver, and after that are of course 1995 & 2011 world championships and '88 Calgary olympic silver which kickstarted the rise of Finnish hockey
In 2006 Finland played by far their best hockey and only stupidity made them lose the final. Losing the final is the biggest disappointment in Finnish sports for me. Biggest achievement in Finnish hockey for me is to win the Worlds Juniors 3 times within 6 years, 2014, 2016 and 2019.
Well the game vs czech rep they didnt win fair... i watch the entire game and the czechs had like 40-25 in shots. And the swedish commentor was pissed like hell becouse the judges didnt take penaltys on the canadian players in the third period. They hang on the czech players for like 20-30 sec and not a wistle.
Well I watch the game then and a couple of times since Czechs have always been a bunch dirty Fuckin weasels , the back stabbing spearing Euro type of hockey , Fuckin cowards . The refs see this on the ice and that's why they let things go . Just another loss the Czechs can whine about !!!!!!!
@DEU I'd like to have the drugs you're doing. I'd make a fortune. I don't find Czech players or fans to be whiners or sore losers. I don't think you're from Czech, honestly. If you are then you're one of the few sore sports from that country. Czech played a great tournament. It's a game of inches and Czechs were awesome and that game could have gone either way. But to claim that refs were not calling penalties is just sore sport talk that sounds more like Russian or Sweden fans.
